I don’t think anybody has been suggesting we need a different interim manager

Nope, but more we should be rushing to approve anyone as a perm manager, so it's not him.

He’s scored, got forward well and dug out a couple of Charlton crosses. I can’t complain about him, personally.

I think we've got so used to complaining that today's performance has thrown some people completely and they're just posting negative comments like this out of habit.

5. Wow. Fair to say Eckert's audition is going ok.

Unmarked, disappointing that.

Unmarked but may as well have a statue in goal.

20 shots in that half for Saints. Proper attacking football, great to see.

Anyone know the XG?

Edit, XG is apparently 3.97

Armstrong has absolutely destroyed them. Scienza and Fellows dominating too.

But why have they got the space to do this? Bragg and Jander. The difference between a Still team and this, properly coached and prepared team, is the CM movement to open up channels for the CBs to find the forward players, rather than get stuck with the ball. Got to give a massive shout to Bragg. Looks like he'll be a very good player.

Well played everyone  and unless we go to shit in the next two matches, good luck in the role, Tundra Eckhardt!

Poop goal to concede though.

Let's go for the 9.

Anybody else indulging in imagining the scenes within the Charlton dressing room as Jones combusts? 🤭

Can’t see Nathan ‘look at me’ Jones giving it the big one after this.

He’ll probably claim he taught them everything they know - just that they’re catching on now!

Good to see Saints moving the ball quickly from defence to attack. Caught Charlton by surprise that we didn't pass it slowly around at the back to allow them to get back into position.

Ok so the marking was terrible and the blame overall lies with the defenders (Stephens in particular) for allowing a free header.

But, once again, you find yourself wondering if a keeper with better reactions could have saved it, because as always the ball has pretty much already gone past Baz before he even moved.
