You assume that Stewart was fit to start. I'm assuming he wasn't.

Haven’t Still and Tonda said he can’t do three games a week and can’t do more than 60 minutes a game? Or at least word to that effect. Picking Archer will be down to that, assume Larin isn’t full fit yet either,  perhaps also thinking Archer is a bit more mobile to catch them on the break. No issue with the team selection the fact a few of them played like peckerheads isn’t really Tondas fault and he hooked them

Not just because of the goal (as good as it was), but Charles looks a good player and someone to build a team around. Surely must start.

…and let’s not forget the lovely layoff by Stewart. He brings so much to our play🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

one is Jander cannot play two games in a week, we all know that but the manager doesnt…

thats the first I've ever read on here that Jander cant play two games in a row.  You might have noticed it but not everyone has.

I can remember Leeds doing it to us....i think that was the Championship though

Too soon, feels like yesterday 😂

What a feeling - we had a few last minute winners when in the Champ last time but this was another level. What a day to be a Saints fan after all the recent misery. Football, bloody hell.

Birmingham dropped a surprising 2 points tonight too. Good for us and a WBA point sends Pompey and Leicester that little bit closer to the relegation zone. It's a shame Blackburn are so shit that they'll probably end up going down anyway.

maybe not the time, but unless he signs a new contract soon, then we wont see the best of him. He looked a class above tonight. He's got the first touch to play at a higher level and the loan to Wednesday has got him making deep runs too.

He was doing that for Norn Iron before Wednesday to be fair.

Indeed. The credit is appreciating that it wasn't working, and hooking players. Larin for Bree, and the tactical tweak Duck highlighted, was superb.

The lads are playing for Tonda, and he's given our season a bit of purpose now. Fair play to him.

One thing I've noticed is that Peretz loves getting involved in the celebrations in the big moments.

Not a major thing at all but Gav or McCarthy would just stand there pretty emotionless.

Must admit the team spirit seems like it's improving.

Surely he should have hooked Jander well before half time if he was playing like he was pissed?! It's fantastic we came back, but this was a once in a lifetime occurrence, we should never have been 3 down to this Leicester side, and he should have acted sooner with Jander's bizarre performance.

I think he recognised his mistakes and where it was going wrong in the first half. and made all the changes at the right time I'd say (we won!).
Why cant he get some credit for that? I dont think many managers/teams would turn around a 0-3 halftime deficit... go pour a beer and f*cking enjoy it!

Quite a few idiots on here need to wobble their heads. Doubt they have the guts to retract all their spiteful venom aimed at the manager and certain players at HT.

the only player I directed abuse at was Archer. Stand by that.

Absurd to start him, but Tonda got it right second half. Another three points he’s won us. Onwards and upwards.

Leeds got a draw from 2-0 down...Cole Palmer did miss an absolute sitter from about 2 ft out in injury time.

Bloody hell. I love football. It drives me nuts and then it does this.

I watched the post-game analysis on Foxes Hub, the club TV channel, and it was just so pleasing to watch them be so miserable and dejected... 😆

I’m gutted.

Was fuming at half time and I went out for a jog. Came back and the wife was laughing her head off.
I feel like a jerk missing the fun.

Wild. Absolutely sensational. Need to be watching those celebrations from those loyal as fuck away fans on repeat. Get it fucking injected into my veins. So good.

Absolutely spot on. We need to be very careful with Stewart and Larin was knackered after about ten minutes on Saturday. His hands may have been tied.

Tonda gets far more grief than he deserves on here. Some seem to forget that's it players that play the game not the manager.

Can we play Leicester every week?

Why? They’ve beaten us 4 of the last 6 games and before that stuck 9 past us, as well as winning in a semi final…

When Adkins was appointed in League One, I said whichever manager gets us promoted will be remembered for it forever. He then got us through the Championship too. I'll admit I have some doubts about Tonda (lack of experience principally) but he will be remembered for this result for a long time. His subs at half time were perfect after all 3 players deserved to be hooked. He's learning and this performance, both halves bad and good, will go a long way towards that. Credit where it's due.

We're bang in form now and there seems to be a good team spirit. Our next game better be against a team with a defence as bad as Leicester's...

I remember us losing 4-3 to Leeds at St Marys, them singing "3 nil and you fucked it up".  Maybe 2004 or 5  Never thought we'd reverse it.  Old memories die hard.

I was there as well - great for the boot to be on the other foot.

Get the fuck in. What a second half. Ross Stewart outstanding I thought.

Agreed, made a massive difference. Was winning everything. Nice to see after a pretty average performance at the weekend.

Tonda Eckert on starting Archer over Stewart: "Cam has been outstanding over the last weeks, he deserved the chance today. The truth is Ross could only play 25 to 30 minutes, so I think the medical staff won't be happy with my decision to put him on at half-time."

While all of that is true, what Tonda didn’t appreciate, or act on, was the need to make changes on the half-hour after Leicester’s third goal goes in.   He should have replaced Jander who was having an out-of-character shocker; he should have replaced Archer for reasons which don’t need explaining, and he could have taken Fellows off who couldn’t get into the game and whose head had dropped after the awful back pass.    It took a miracle and a touch of class from Shea Charles to rescue three points, and save Tonda’s blushes.    Yes, they are playing for him, yes he made several good tactical changes, but the Archer experiment and the delayed substitutions invite justified criticism.

Alright, I'll hold my hand up.

Didn't think we had it in us. The first half was as bad as I've ever seen but wow, credit to the boys for keeping at it and pulling off such an incredible comeback.

KUDOS.
