For the first time in many many years, probably since the days of Poch and Koeman, I expect this team to show balls and get games over the line. Yes I know we are in a lower league than back then, but The team spirit and competitiveness in this team has turned from being non existent to suddenly the best I’ve known in years. Take a bow Tonda. Proud of the club we support again

Couldn’t agree more, he’s turned us into a proper team.  
 

We seem to have a lot more likeable characters in the squad at the moment. I think the two are probably related. 
 

Peretz, Bree and Larin have been massive for the dressing room.

To be honest after our win today, even a draw isn’t a total disaster. Would be 2 points to gained on ipswich. Ordinarily you’d say they will beat an off form Boro, but the pressure on them is now ramped up massively after Millwall and ourselves won today. Loving it

Not at all. For most of his time here he’s been abysmal and his recent run of form doesn’t change that. 

But credit to him for finding his form and recovering his confidence. 

Most of all though well done Tonda for unlocking his talent and making Archer a useful addition and getting  him motivated again.

Tonda has done such a fantastic job that it seems we can win without the posting of semi-naked nuns on the forum.

Get that sorted mods, and perhaps as Turkish states we won’t ever lose again.

A mention for Wood.  He had a few ropey moments and in my book he’s not a starter, but he steadied and pulled off a couple of crucial blocks and tackles late in the game.

The way Tonda has managed to galvanise the entire club is remarkable. 
 

Winning obviously helps but this is now right up there with the Adkins years for a squad you can’t help but love every single one of them. 
 

Which considering how I felt about them for a long period of time this season, particularly over Christmas and new years, is no mean feat! There were quite a few players I never wanted to see in a saints shirt ever again.

End of the day though he’s not really a lone striker .. if he was played in a partnership with someone like larin we would have seen a different archer. I think it’s getting difficult for short strikers in todays game as if you play with one cf it doesn’t really work for Them

Absolutely. It wasn’t that long ago we hated them, the entire away end was singing you’re not fit to wear the shirt. The  transformation in such a short time has been incredible

Yep, looking likely the last two will be against relegated teams and Stoke are crap. This could well be Millwall's year.

Baz will do the business for us at Stoke bearing in mind he will see his pay double if we go up and he comes back as first choice 'keeper!!

Only hope is that the relegated teams pull a big result out of the bag once they're officially down. It often happens....

But of a ropey performance, but managed to get it over the line. A couple of key players, Azaz & Leo slightly off it & Stewart had his poorest game for a while. Swansea played with a lot of freedom and determination, no sign of them being on the beach. 
 

Wood handled the big fella well, but in other aspects he struggles  & doesnt pass the ball well enough. Scrappy goal to give away,  Bree & the keeper maybe should have done better, but the result is all that matters. 
 

The turnaround in the players mentality has been remarkable.

Yeah, two relegated teams and a bog standard Stoke team. That said, Leicester will be keen not to go out with a whimper at home.

A WBA points deduction would liven things up too.

Fair point to some degree. But underlines the question of signing him in the first place if we weren’t going to play to his strengths.  Not his fault of course.

Because he was fucking pony. A couple of his performances were up there with the worst I’ve seen in 50 years of watching and his “better” performances were inadequate. One good performance Tuesday and a goal today doesn’t change that fact. He deserved every bit of clog he got, what are people meant to say when he played pony, that he played well?

Was a good call to take Downes off at half time. Swansea trying to wind up our players was one of their tactics, Downes took the bait. Spot on from Tonda.
