Good result.

Sense of natural justice being restored.

McBurnie is an arsehole, but did the business today, thankfully.
Shame we hadn’t signed him - free transfer-rather than Downes at the start of the season.

So after all that scheming and entrapment what do boro get?

no shots at goal (and no trains home to the chemical soup that is Boro)

plus they have to compete with us for promotion next season, rather than Hull.

nice one Gibbo

Unless he's got a dossier of further misdemeanors against us that he was keeping up his sleeve in case they lost today....? 🫣 #plottwist

I think it’s impossible, they’d have to get promoted and as we’ve seen this season they bottled it 3 times.

Gibbo, use the revenue from today to hire a fitness coach and buy a fucking fence.

The stadium was half full today, maybe they'll get enough to buy a gate 🤣

Surely Saints can go after this Taylor guy.

I've avoided this site since Wednesday. Just saw the result and cheered. I feel so much better now and fuck you boro. Let's go again next year and finish above these absolute wankers.

Happy Hour indeed.

But not for Middlesbrough who will be singing along to the old Goodies song “ Do, do, do the Funky Gibbo …”

I do have a genuine concern about that... Wouldn't put it past him to have kept back some other spying examples from his whistleblower to handover to the EFL if they didn't get promoted....

Surely it would be for the individual clubs to make those complaints. I think if they had that evidence they would have provided it already.

What purpose would that serve ?
Other than spite.
And no benefit to them whatsoever

There's only one use for a picture of Gibbo in the Khazi.

I think you've answered you're own question there... ;)

Also, if we got more point deductions as a result then it would benefit them...

Did the EFL and/or the panel see all of the WhatsApp messages, or just the ones that Middlesbrough chose to submit to them...?

Probably... Doesn't stop me having a little niggle of a concern at the back of my mind though....

His team lost, not once but twice. They were not good enough to go up. He must accept that and move on. Just as we will.

More incompetence.

Governance, compliance and risk seriously needs be looked at across the board.

So unprofessional.

I think two of the three on the panel may have seen them all 😀

They probably do have confidentiality agreements. Hard to enforce against legitimate whistleblowers though. And what are you going to do anyway, sue some penniless intern?

This season of "The Spygate Saga" has ended quite well.

The plot twists, the nastiness, the cunning, the idiocy, the drama, and the fact that, despite the hype and Hollywood special effects, the dragons were eventually irrelevant: Better than the Game of Thrones finale, at least.

The local Boro reporter was shown on Sky Sports on Wembley Way earlier and was saying 'Let's see what evidence comes to light... I can't say much more at this stage' - makes me think Gibson held something back for if we weren't chucked out, which he might now feed out to his press pals in the north east to put a fuck into a promotional rival for next season

I think they'll be quite surprised, the momentum of media love has swung today. The majority of fans feel justice has been served, and Boro have not come out of this very well at all.

If they have another attempt at sour grapes and crying, I don't think you'll get the pile on that was prevalent before.

And by the way, that reporter needs to be investigated.

As I posted elsewhere, we have been known by other clubs to be cheating for much of the season. Evidence and willingness to go down that road has kept it under wraps from the public.

Oh no, I can see it now Gibson will sue us as Eckhart disclosed to Hull that Middlesbrough cannot hit the target and run out of steam after 75 minutes 😁
