Apparently Middlesbrough are going to carry on training from Monday morning in case Don Gibbo can play another blinder and get them a 4th bite at the cherry...

Does that mean Saints get reinstated

Just cant get this song out of my head tonight😁(a song from the 70s for you young ones)

Oh well now you've been layin' it down
You got your
Hips swingin' out of bounds
And I like the way you do what you're doin' to me
Alright
-

Well that's right
That's right
That's right
That's right

I really love your tiger light

And that's neat
That's neat
That's neat
That's neat

I really love your tiger feet

I really love your tiger feet

Your tiger feet
Your tiger feet
Your tiger feet

As funny was it was seeing that happen today - and it was absolutely hilarious - don't let the brief respite detract you from the fact it should have been us there celebrating going up but for a catastrophic failure at how the club is running and governing itself.

Next season it will be much harder to go up, with better teams in the division and likely us having a team of lower quality, and certainly depth.  We also have the small matter of 4pts to make up, and a playoff setup that introduces the potential for random factors derailing you.

I am not entirely sure what the new financial rules mean in all this either.  The club, if they choose to take any sort of accountability (it's not been forthcoming publicly thus far), owe it to the fans to give it a proper go, especially with it being the last year of parachute payments.

As for Boro, their fans must be devastated.  Bottled automatics and the playoffs twice in a single season.  Now their best player and homegrown talent will leave and they have their own mountain to climb in the summer.  Even with the tailwind of their media buddies during spygate they have continually let their fans down on the pitch - and now they are starting to ask questions of their club themselves.

Smashing the Hull team bus must have been tricky from up on the moral high ground.

Apparently it was disgruntled Southampton fans who did that, trying to get Boro charged.

Yes, that's what some of their unhinged were saying online.

OMFG, what an idea.

A local firm makes high quality cider and Perry (this being the Three Counties area) from excess fruit donated and you get some of their lovely produce in return.

My argument for supporting Hull is that, as a place, it contributes more to the UK. Smashing aquarium, major port, good at rugby league (if you’re into that).

Genuinely have no idea what Middlesbrough contributes.

Didn’t watch the match but did Hackney full on kick anyone after they’d knocked it past him about 2/3 seconds before?! Cry babies!!

Imagine make the trip down to Southampton - and losing and sulking all the way home; then just over a week later going down to Wembley, losing and heading home.

What a trip! 🤣

You've got to build them up so you can knock them down again.

Simon Peach has got a fantastic photo on his socials of McBurnie’s celebration in front of the Middlesbrough fans when he scored.

If you zoom in it’s a sea of red and white hands on heads in disbelief. 😂😂😂😂

That’s on the river at Newcastle/Gateshead, or was many years ago.

I've just read that it was scrapped in 2019. Do literally no reason to go there no, other than for trolling purposes.
