Good on SR for getting shit done quickly - this is clearly being done to get the fans onside, and it will work.

Yep. Better than any crap statement the club could put out.

Leo Scienza likes the post about Peretz signing.

Could means nothing.

Could mean something.

Either way, there are fans out there now that’ll be bashing one out over this news and what it could mean 😂

Ooh, good spot 👍

I think there's a chance Scienza might stay. Footballers love to be loved, and there must be a sense of unfinished business

I just don't see there being a PL club willing to take a big enough financial punt on Scienza, at his age, for us to sell him.

Agreed. He also didn't set the world on fire in the last month.

I half expected Coventry to come in for him. Talking to some of their fans away they thought Lampard had spoken really highly of him, enough to be one to watch if they got up.

Good news - will it come a third time today?

The phone didn't ring again at the end of the video clip this time, so I suspect not

Spygate is now back at the level of insignificance it always should have been....

2 solid signings - and a good measure of how TE is thought of by the dressing room.

Let's be honest. We have the potential to start this coming season in a much much better place than we started the last one. A largely settled squad with a winning mentality full of players who haven't known what losing on the pitch is in months. We should be well ahead of where we were ten games into the season just gone. That means we don't need legendary form at the end on order to push for promotion. I'm pretty confident.

Am not sure they bother ringing in for a contract extension...

Yeah, fair point! Although Bree could be away on holiday somewhere...? :)

Bearing in mind the sides coming down will likely have a slower start due to inevitable churn in the summer, we should be able to hit the ground running if we can keep continuity from this season.

Great news getting two key players over the line. I'm glad the club have quickly put to bed the talk of players being unwilling to stay due to Spygate and not achieving promotion in general.

Focus is now on re-signing Bree and Stewart, then it's just about holding onto the rest of the very good team Eckert created.

Could the sales of Ramsdale, Sugawara and BBD etc be enough to stop us having to sell the likes of Charles, Scienza, THB etc?

We made a profit of £75m on transfers last season. Hopefully that means we aren't too desperate to sell.

And... I reckon cometh the end of next season we'll be in even better shape to survive in the PL the following season... Not going back up at the first time of asking *could* end up being a blessing in disguise when we look back on events in a couple of seasons time... (Exhibit A: Leeds Utd)

Almost certainly not. I saw estimates that we need to make 60 million this summer. We will be lucky to get 20 from that lot. Jander and Charles going should be enough I hope. Give us one more year thb...

One assumes Peretz and Larin can't 'officially' sign until 15th June when the transfer window opens?

(Unless we fancy breaking a few more EFL regulations, just for the giggles, of course... ;) )

It’s quite funny watching the West Ham Central twitter account proclaim that they could potential keep Matty Fernandes after relegation, twelve months that the same account said it was impossible to keep him from leaving after being relegated. 😂😂😂

Denial at its finest.

Fernandes won't want to stay, just like he didn't want to stay when we were relegated.

He will go.

Thats just a date for player registrations. Deals can be done and dusted before, their licences etc won't be transferred until after that date.

So, yeah, you're right, they are officially our players after that date.

All this talk of a third signing has got me thinking. Do you reckon we can get #announcehackney trending on Twitter or would that just be really immature?

Will be one more signing.  Stewart I expect .  There were three shirts at the end of the Larin video with one not turned around

Most players go if Man Utd come calling TBF. He would be a great signing for them . Bit annoying if it funds a WHU promotion drive, but so it goes.

I heard he was best mates with Azaz and couldn't wait to hook up with him again.

Someone spotted earlier that there were actually four shirts in shot, two of which were still to be turned around (either side of Larin's shirt)...
