The best thing about Orlando is knowing you’re going to Disney World, and even that becomes too much after a week. 😂

How many games do we think will be delayed because of weather over the next three weeks? 🧐

Or a team gets accused of spying and there is a fixture pile up due to postponements... 😁

Is this AI? "Picture of fat people eating at tables by the corner flag at the England match"??  I didn't bother watching the friendly last night but that looks unreal 😂

These pictures are from the BC Stadium in Vancouver in October 2024. Down by the pitchside are the VIP seats where you can order 'food' to be brought to your seat. It was a strange way to see a football match.  I was only there to see Stuart Armstrong.

One of them would have eaten it before it even landed

It's not quite that clear cut, but funny nonetheless

Thats an interesting one. I can see a few influencers ignoring this or not even seeing it.

I wonder how they'll crack down on it. Presumably through AI and then capturing names on various databases.

Is it content specific to the World Cup or any content whilst the World Cup is underway?

Is this Mexican opening ceremony going to be worth a watch? Hadn't realised that they are also going to have separate opening ceremonies in US and Canada, feels a bit excessive

I think we should have an opening ceremony too. I'd like to see Haiti's opening ceremony, I'm sure they can get some armed gangs to act out some kidnappings or something.

Who knows!

Heard there are arabs, lots of money and a single bald man waving a swiss flag in one scene.

I look at 49 year old Shakira and then I look at my 42 year old wife and I start to question my life choices... 😁

I quite liked that official anthem DNA. Even if Bocelli looked like he couldn't remember the words for half of it.

Thought the Mexican national anthem was pretty stirring stuff, with the mascots going full tilt at it too

Weird that they have a carefully scheduled three minute hydration break but don’t stop the clock for it and just treat it as injury time to be added on by the referee

This is tedious.

The atmosphere feels gentrified. Are the tickets too expensive in Mexico as well?

This has the makings of a very boring few weeks before anything exciting happens.

Is it just me?

This is league 1 standard. Just shit

Nope. All the real fans have been priced out so it’s just a bunch of boring middle class people and corporates sat in their $100 replica shirts quietly munching their hotdogs while a League 2 standard game unfolds before them.

FIFA have taken the game away from the people, ruined the format and killed this tournament.

ok switched off, I thought after following our season the world cup would be a step up in quality but it's fucking shit.

South Africa trying to not fuck up comically and Mexico waiting for the fuck ups.
