revolution saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Is Akachukwu playing midfield? Don't know much about him but I thought he was more of a wide player? Whoever plays there the midfield looks pretty weak although I if you decide not to play Downes or Matsuki then I it's always going to look like that. Don't think taking young kids and playing them out of position is best for their development but guess we'll see. Edited 2 hours ago by revolution saint

Also interesting to see Bowen on the bench for them with rumours he may still be off. Does it only cup-tie him if he comes on? And see it's 25 years ago today since the first league fixture at St Mary's. FFS. Edited 2 hours ago by TheAlehouseBrawlers Typo 1
hypochondriac Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Slightly bizarre decision to play Scienza imo. Really need him fit and firing for next week. Surprised Edozie didn't start. 3
Disco Stu Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Stronger lineup than I anticipated. I just hope there's no injuries. 2

Tom57 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Maybe a 4-1-2-1-2??? We will basically have no midfield whatever we do with that lineup I'd have thought 🤔

hypochondriac Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just now, egg said: That was my initial thought, but he looks unfit and slightly off it, so on balance I think he needs the game There were reports he had a shoulder injury from the Watford game. I assume it was the lack of sleep from that rather than the injury itself that caused the poor performance on Saturday otherwise I can't see why they would risk him before Saturday.

Colinjb Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Good line-up with a strong bench. Just very youthful in CM. Nice to see we are taking it seriously. 3
Willo of Whiteley Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Another line up that suggests who is and isn’t in Tonda’s plans
Willo of Whiteley Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago James Ward-Prowse not in the West Ham squad. Come on conspiracy theorists! Do your thing! 😂 3

In terms of physical size Bragg is, but Akachukwu is huge. So not lightweight in that sense. Edited 2 hours ago by Matthew Le God

Apparently patched things up this summer and he's had ganetine in their last few games. Edited 2 hours ago by hypochondriac
trousers Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Most West Ham fans I've seen online saying this is "the weakest WH line up they've ever seen..."
Window Cleaner Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 2 minutes ago, trousers said: Most West Ham fans I've seen online saying this is "the weakest WH line up they've ever seen..." Probably not interested in the Carabao Cup. Still at 25 quid they could make an effort. Suppose it's not their fans paying

trousers Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Players arriving for the game by coach... Bit overkill for round 2 of the EFL cup...?
spyinthesky Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Where is our Danish, ex Brentford, right back? He must rival Ross Stewart for time on the treatment table!! What happens if BReeeee gets injured? 1

He has come off the bench though and played the second half against Burnley. Odd that he is missing.

If there was one game where you'd take a punt that JWP would be a shoe-in to start, it would surely be this one? So, he's either injured or we're re-signing him in a few days... 2 + 2 = 5 Edited 1 hour ago by trousers 1

benjii Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I would've thought Dobbin would be deeper with O'Akachukwu on the wing and Scienza behind Divin.

Suhari Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Decent lineup. Curious who plays alongside Bragg. 3-0 Saints.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Trying figure out which SkySports channel it’s streaming on…just a load of studio chat at the moment.
bangkoksaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I seem to only have half a screen on the Sky +. Anyone know how I get rid of the bit at the side?
