hypochondriac Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Will Stephens be better on the right with Schlotterbeck? 2

Saint Fan CaM Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago So our defence today is Bree - Clusterfuck - Schlotterbeck - Welington? Lovely.🤭😉
Baird of the land Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Can see the logic of the Stephens choice, you'd expect us to have more of the ball, which suits stephens more than wood. 1
danjosaint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 36 minutes ago, Patches O Houlihan said: Wood is quicker, more physical, a better header and reads the game better than Stephens - so in his case this isn't a sensible argument. I think he's done it be cause "it's only Lincoln" and Jack can save face, by looking like he's part of a rotation. 100% this 2

Patches O Houlihan Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) For me Wood is the football equivalent of: "I don't need a gun; I've got a Donk" Not the sharpest tool - but effective in the right circumstances - and away at Lincoln would certainly be one of those. https://fb.watch/JrI40bimPU/ Edited 5 hours ago by Patches O Houlihan link for the young 1

sadoldgit Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Given that Shlotterbeck had a couple of Captain Jack moments against Birmingham I’m not sure of the wisdom of pairing up these two. As we know, Stephens is weak in the air too. Other than that happy to see JWP start and it looks pretty good on paper. At some point Mubama is going to have to start and needs more game time though. CamSaint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Looking at today’s entire match day squad, who would you leave out when Jander is fit? Edozie? Stephens?

SaintStinger Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Matsuki is due a goal, so I reckon he'll score today. 1
davefizzy14 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 3-0 to us today - Larin, Scienza and Prowsey (free kick!) 😊 COYR 😊 1
64saint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Opening a book on what minute the first post says ....What the fuck is Stephens doing !!!......first minute..odds on 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Edited 5 hours ago by 64saint 1 2
Patrick Bateman Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Is the Saints match on fking Sky or not?? All I can see is them talking about Blackburn, on every Sky Sports channel, even Sky+ which is supposed to be Lincoln vs Saints? Edited 5 hours ago by Patrick Bateman

I would think it's likely Larin will come off earlier this game, maybe on the hour, so Mubama should get 30 mins+ hopefully. Ideally, the plan would be to be a couple of goals up by then but as we know it doesn't always go to plan with Saints!

hypochondriac Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago It's not like the defence didn't still look shaky in the week. I'd lime us to try some combinations to see what works. Bree is a definite but the others all have various weaknesses and combinations are usually the key rather than individuals. Stephens will know he has to perform or he's out. 1

The way they are doing the build up by talking about all of the 12.30 televised is no different to what they've ever done.

Patches O Houlihan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago JWP seemed tp be giving the pre-match huddle team talk 2
obelisk Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago An up and under from the kick off. Saints not comfortable.
Saint NL Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Great start. I do like the camera angle in this stadium though
adrian lord Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Lincoln look generally tall and big, pressing game. I guess we’ll be waiting for them to fatigue and then we’ll slice through them. 1

captainchris Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago How on earth are we allowing us to start games like this all the time…
PerthshireSaint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Missed the presser is there any update on Jander at all ?
RedArmy Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Manning would be having a field day down that left flank today.

saint michael Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago When we cross we always seem to play it backwards and behind the attackers. Would like to see us hang it up a bit 1
