Two utter idiots.

Whilst driving towards the M271 on the slip under redbridge flyover today at approx 5pm I saw Two guys about 20yrs old stone a Blue Either Clio/Corsa type car and smash both passenger side windows and cause considerable damage to front/rear windows and body whilst shouting "Skate Cu**ts " and then when said car got caught at lights they ran in for some more then prompty ran off. The Chap driving the car who I would say was mid 50`s tried to get out but I think his family told him to get back in. I flashed my lights and beeped my horn whilst my Wife (on phone to police) tried to tell his Wife to pull over for help, They didn`t stop and it made me feel ashamed to be a Saints fan seeing the faces in their car mostly the one of the kid of about 12 sat in rear of car wearing a PFC shirt.

It was by the look of it Nan and Grandad on a day out maybe Ikea or West Quay bit of swimming then Mcd`s with the grandchildren. Well ! if any of you guys read the posts on here I can only apologise for the way those two behaved and i hope that the kids are okay.

The two Idiots who did this will most likley not be reading this because you prob aren`t even Saints fans and haven`t even attented a football match. Just two bored, Stoned and prob p!2sed Thugs !!.

There's no need, we should support the care in the community policy.

Joking apart, it's not on, is it. Do it on the pitch next season.

One Question:

If they were up on the bridge, and only the boy in the back had a PFC shirt on, how did they know they were 'Skates' ?

Bridge ?? Sliproad, footpath, shouting, Boy in PFC Shirt "Skate ****s" and stones. Let me give you a clue..............

try going out in toilet town in a saints shirt and see what happens. not say its right.

As disgusted as I am by these idiots claiming to be Saints fans, would you let your son wear a Saints shirt in skatesmouth and not expect to get a reaction.

Parents/grandparents really should have advised better.

Allowing Grandson to wear Skate shirt in Southampton - Foolish.

True, but sad that we live in a world where humans are so thick such that what you where puts you in danger. Pathetic.

Good job these brainless sub-humans won't ever get to vote in a UK election...doh...

It was just a kid. There was no way he was deliberately provoking the action, Kids would eat, drink and sleep in their favourite kits if they could.

Totally agree. It is a sad reflection on the worst elements of English society that some people cannot accept and understand what is appropriate ! These thugs have shamed Southampton FC. I have worked with pompey supporters and although we have banter, it is that and just that ffs !

I drive a jeep with sfc plate and wheel cover I have been literally forced off the m27 on way to m and s a few times by pompey supporters I have every sympathy with this family

That is why i'd never have an SFC plate. When I drive to away games I always remove my Saints minikit to make sure the car doesn't stand out. If you have a SFC personal plate it limits where you can park.

I am no way condoning it, but they were asking for attention and problems by allowing him to wear a pompey shirt. Ive heard of saints kids wearing saints shirts to Pompey and being spat at by grown men.

While sat in their car? FFS, do you have no shame? Blaming a kid sat in the back seat of a private car for being attacked by mindless morons.

I also seriously doubt your second sentence. There are no grown men in Pompey.

Yep..i'm with the trail of thought that they were complete idiots to allow their son to wear a Pompey shirt in Southampton....If and when i go to Portsmouth, I would never in a million years wear anything Saints related..how ****ing stupid do you need to be to know that that isn't really a good idea? and if i was with someone who was going to wear a shirt..i'd probably say....not the best idea mate.

Now...not in anyway saying what happened was right..and chances are the 2 lads are complete social morons with not much going for them who do all kinds of nasty sh1t all the time,....but that is life and how particular circles of people live....and that's why you don't wear a Pompey shirt in Southampton and vice versa.

I am shamed by this and it only serves to make one nipper grow up with that traumatic stereotype memory that will make his fear turn into hate for us.

My brothers Pompey and if this ever happened to him I would be mortified.

I personally have seen kids in Pompey shirts out and about and always like to chat with them. Even last week in Brighton I had Pompey fans approacing me and just being nice and genuinely hoping to be playing us next season. I quite like the little urchins.

its not a case of being right or wrong ,the adults should have known that wearing a Pompey shirt in the city of their biggest rivals was foolish. We all would like it that both sets of fans could live together but it is not going to happen, so dont do things that put a youngster in danger.

I must say I was surprised reading it as I would have put money on the incident being the other way round and it was a saints fan attacked.

Of course we dont know if the lad made a gesture or kissed his shirt at the lads who then got riled. Dont tell me that might not have happened as we all know how kids do behave . I recall the occasion when a father took his kid wearing a Pompey shirt to the Tranmere game and stood near the saints fans and taunted us.

Bloke with his two daughters. Afterwards he was seen sat on the curb with blood p i s sing from his nose.

He left shortly before the end, zipping his skate shirt away under his jacket. Guess some folk left our end at the same time.

Good grief. Some people need to get over the fact that some people like to support different football teams. If they didn't we'd have no-one to play. And surely it's better that people support their local team rather than glory hunting after the likes of Man U or Arsenal. And if they live in East Hampshire, they're likely to support Portsmouth. And I know this won't make me popular witn some, but just being a Portsmouth supporter doesn't make you a bad person. Although there are bad people who are Pompey supporters (and some bad people who are Saints supporters). Banter's one thing, violence is just wrong.

The kid was young ffs never ever should a child have to see abuse because of a team they support. My mate took his kid to a saints game and whilst he was stood on Winchester station got loads of abuse off Pompey fans going to an away game. Little lad wondered what was going on. If you want to be idiots leave kids out of it.
