My cousin's mate's father-in-law's dog walker says that's a load of old pony. Let's call this one a draw.

Your cousin's mate's father-in-law's dog walker is Lord Duckhunter ?

Because I've talked to sports scientists. Not having lunch is clearly going to impact on elite level performance in the early evening.

So no source then?

No but he is right though

He probably is, but every day for years we've had to put up with his nonsense, calling people out on the tiniest little thing and yet, here he is making statements he can't back up with source material.

Salisu and Diallo have both been fasting in recent weeks, so they are not in peak condition.

Is there evidence of this (that they are fasting)?
Or have you assumed due to their names?

Hasenhuttl said they were both fasting in a press conference and that it was a factor in their energy levels.

Ralph said on Thursday that Salisu is not quite at peak match fitness due to fasting otherwise he would be starting. Happy with the line up COYR :)

He could have opted to fast another day after Ramadan

Oh okay thanks for confirming

I know some players have claimed dispensation under religious grounds.

Salah and Mane are Muslims too- I don’t know if they are fasting tonight though? If so, let’s see how their performance will be hindered.

Honestly can't see us getting much from this game with that line-up, will be nice to have another good look at Tella though, and Armstong at CM.

What would you suggest then

A competitive squad.  No shortage of surprises this season though, so you never know.

Hearing about Liverpool’s feeble home record makes me worry we’ll be just the tonic they need. Come on Saints, get stuck in, do us proud!

Yep, give a game but be careful.

Not conceding early is vital

Tella is in and playing in front of Stephens which does worry me.

Now don't go nuts , it's just an innocent question but what is it that Tella does? I've seen him several times now, and people seem to think he has what it takes. I've heard comments that he's very quick but what sort of player is he? I genuinely haven't seen him produce anything so far other than snatching at a couple of good chances. Is he a winger or going to be a central striker?

I should caveat this with the fact I know he's a young player and finding his feet. Im not having a go, I'm just wondering what his strengths are?

I think at the moment his strength is playing without fear and always looking to go forward with pace but yes he is a raw talent and not without risk

Redmond is such a good player when he actually drives at people. I really don’t know why he doesn’t do it more. I can only assume it’s confidence.

Redmond actually running at people and looking infinitely better for it.

He is looking uncharacteristically positive
