Sorry, you lot blaming Bazunu for those goals are just delusional. That free kick was top bins and the other one was a rocket. The most savable goal in that lot was the Manning free kick which was 100% keeper's side, he should have saved it. But then Manning and THB were rubbish for their first goal.

Scored 2 set pieces, and not much threat from open play

Conceded 2 again

13th in the league.

shite formation

Players playing our of position

Wide open all over the show

Miles off the top already and the Skates above us going into the derby. It really hasn’t been a great start.

Really disappointing especially as we went ahead twice today. A point is a point. We should have won that today.

Not good enough after leading twice. Already 5 points worse off than this point in our last Championship season, and below the skate cunts.

That might or might not be true......however he wasnt responsible for the 2 goals conceded today. That freekick to equalise was a belter and even the bellend Jo Tessem agreed there was nothing Baz could do about it.

I think he is one of the weakest links in this team, and he will continue to let in more goals than he should overall.

It's like playing with a handicap, and we are going to make promotion a lot harder on our selves than it needs to be.

Today, my biggest problem isn't that he has let in the two goals, as they are hard to save - but it is more the fact that you can see in his movement and how slow his reaction to both shots are. He is not even close.

Ben Mee is a free agent. One year contract? We need some experience and resilience at the heart of our defence.

And people say Romeu is too old 🙂

I'm glad it's over just so I don't have to listen to Tessem anymore.

He's like an over-excited Arnold Schwarzenegger if he'd just huffed a helium balloon and then had a big fat line of Claus's beak. Unbearable.

Boro have beaten Norwich, Millwall, and sheffield united.... we've lost to stoke and thrown a game vs watford. Not a great start.

Yup, same as Stoke. Hopefully the new Caspar guy can add a bit of physicality in midfield.

Need another full back and an experienced CB before the window closes cos this defence is not getting us promoted. Also worth remembering that Still is an inexperienced manager in a tough league and may also prove lacking in terms of his first season at least. I'd be happy with 5 from 12 if we were in the PL but not good enough in the Championship. We've seen some good signings this week but not confident it will be enough to get us near to promotion.

Haven't shifted enough of the Martin players - THB, Manning, Stephens are all weak weak links in this side. We leak chances.

At least you are balanced in what you say and don't just lay the blame at his door for both todays goals just because his name is Bazuna. As you have rightly said both goals were hard to save.

Bloody annoying, that should have been a win.

Nothing to with Bazunu, some real agendas coming out there. That was down to not taking the early chances and the 3 at the back formation that is killing us. It just leaves so much room for the opposition to operate in.

When will managers learn.

Really don't want to be playing that bunch in 2 weeks

If we get 6 points from the next 4 fixtures we will be ahead.

Did anyone see why Manning was on the deck leading up to their first goal? You can't just go down expecting free kicks in this league. Thought he and THB were not good as a left sided defensive pairing at all.

I would 100% take a decent bid for THB.

The Irakundu yellow looked like the sort of challenge that gets a VAR red in the EPL. Naturally he bagged the equalizer a few minutes later...

I had us down for 1-1 today so not overly surprised by the draw.

I think the hype from the signings yesterday elevated everyone’s thoughts on today’s game, despite the fact not all of them were registered or fit in time to play.

I’m sure the formation will change now, I’d be surprised if it didn’t. Players are arriving that allow us to have that higher attacking threat.

No point whining about it. Move on.

But we were about to go on a run of five defeats in a row so hopefully we’ll be better off than last season by end of September. New manager, going to take a bit of time.

THB was pushed out to almost LB when attacking.

That is not his strength ffs

Good of you all who are defending Bazunu on the second goal. However I was howling at the telly to cover up that mile of pocket to the left of him. Not sure it would have mattered much at the end, but please enlighten me why he was throwing himself of the pole?

Really disappointing to go ahead that late and not hold on but realistically we were always due a slow start this season. It’s taken longer than we wanted to shift players who didn’t want to be here. Am expecting to see a lot more rhythm after the end of the transfer window and the international break.

Meh, take an away point, but it's one you'd like to win when you're ahead twice. Not clinical enough with our chances and like most seasons it seems anything on target ends up in our net.

Seems we've neglected the GK and CB recruitment, which could completely undo the progress of signing Championship ready attackers like Azaz and Fellows.

His positioning for the freekick was his fault? Statistically he is woeful and in real life looks worse.

We put ourselves under such unnecessary pressure every game by making sloppy passes, getting caught on the break and either scored on or we have to take a yellow to stop it.

Points thrown away at this stage of the season count just the same as points at the end of the season so I'm getting a bit miffed at these sloppy performances.

I was happy to give Baz the benefit of the doubt this season but his positioning for their 2nd goal was dreadful and an invitation to plonk the ball in that corner. Almost any shot on target looks dangerous.

I screamed at tv when the free kick went in blaming Bazunu as first angle looked dreadful. But have to be fair that was a bastard of a free kick

If it makes you feel better to blame Baz for every goal Saints concede then you knock yourself out and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

It's all well bring in these flashy attacking players, What is the point if we still have Weetabix wrists in goal.

And defender's who are error prone and full of mistakes.......

That was rubbish.

Why don't we create any decent chances from open play? We can score from corners and free kicks and that's it. Can't recall us having any sustained spell of pressure. Second half in particular was awful.

Fair result. We didn't do enough to win. Thought we lost this by failing to exert our dominance earlier. Archer doesn't work as a lone striker and he looked isolated. Robinson not one of his better days. Azaz will get better. Two great free kick goals - unfortunately one was theirs. I still have questions about Bazunu for their first - yes it was well struck, but the angle was tight again - he's been beaten both sides from narrow angles Stoke and Watford now - you want your keeper to save at least one of those. Stewart on the wing, really?! No, needed his head on the ball in the centre.
It's a long season, thankful we didn't lose that as momentum was with Watford after their second equaliser.

First goal was down to Manning feigning an injury, the second goal he could've done much better with his positioning. That said he is truly a bang average keeper who will cost us more points the more games he plays. Have a good weekend too.

Still waiting to see what a Will Still side “is”. There were glimpses of it in the first half, some nice forward interplay. But this formation does these players no favours at all and we are so vulnerable to a counter attack. Extremely sloppy in possession, some good midfield pressing sometimes but at other times Watford just broke through our ranks with ease. And let’s face it, Watford are an average championship side.

2 weeks until the next game but Still has got a huge amount to do. Just fuck off with the 5 at the back now, it’s awful. He goes on about not being able to play a certain way because we don’t the right personnel, but every game we’ve ended up chasing he puts square pegs in round holes anyway.

Lots to do, I’m not impressed at all so far.

Feel like Still waited too long to make changes. Azaz in particular could barely move by the time he was removed. His tired surrender of possession led us to give away the free kick that they scored from.

Also get rid of this 3 CB bullshit. Too negative, surrenders midfield control and invites pressure.

To be fair with Downes pulling out unwell and Jander not registered in time that may have been difficult today

Derby next, all the signings will be available no excuses.

I thought the first half was pretty controlled, we didn't give up too much and I felt we knew what we were doing. Archer was a thorn in their side pulling them around, making runs in behind etc.  Watford did always carry a threat with their physical profile though.

2nd half was trash heap. We couldn't keep the ball, we surendered the entire game really. I thought we'd got out of jail with that free kick, but based on the 2nd half a draw was fair for Watford.

I thought we were too loose on the ball in the 2nd half, playing passes into spaces where no one was, poor touch and control from players, being broken at from our corners. It was all pretty trash heap stuff.

Hopefully after the international break we can start bedding in some of the new guys, we're still not far off anything really. So early for people to be panicking about the position we are sat etc, the table means zilch right now.

But we've got go control games better than we do.
