OnceaSaintalwaysaSaint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Think Will is slowly stamping his authority. Didn't we go on our unbeaten run last time Shoehorn was injured? Like this team. Really hoping Stewart makes a mark today. 8

Wade Garrett Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Got to get the win tonight, simple as. They look a better side than their results, but then they did have a complete fucking knob as their manager. Would expect them to improve under Wilder, so won’t be easy. Azaz needs a performance tonight or he could be out of the side. Lets rip them a new one, 0-3 Will Still’s Red and White army. 4

I’m pretty sure he got injured the QPR game before the 4 consecutive batterings we took, if I remember rightly. 1

Was relatively anonymous last weekend. Would prefer Jelert too but otherwise happy with that line up. 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Is that.... an unchanged starting 11? What trickery is this! 1 1

Willo of Whiteley Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Ah the conspiracy theorists are going to be coming out regarding Stephens not being on the bench 😂

saintant Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago So was Stephens left out on Saturday because of this 'injury?' Will Still has not mentioned an injury to him in his press conferences. Strange.

saintwbu Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Stephens in the instagram video walking in with the squad, so no conspiracy

LGTL Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Big game tonight. I do feel like we are a decent victory away from really getting going, and 2 or 3 could follow quite quickly. Here’s hoping! 1

Totton Saint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Nice chance for me to get able to put faces to some of the new names by me able to watch on Sky. I know Wood though - he seems good. 1

That’ll be 10 times more than Downs. 2

Only then will we see the real Ross Stewart and be able to really judge him. 3
Saint NL Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I said before the game on Saturday that it was a big game for Stewart. I barely remember him doing anything then, so maybe today's the day. Still needs to tell him to stop dropping deep and just stand at the far post waiting for Fellows' crosses.
davefizzy14 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Hopefully Jack has just got a knock and will be back for Saturday. Unchanged tonight and hopefully Ross Stewart can grab a goal tonight - COYR 😊 Edited 3 hours ago by davefizzy14 2
trousers Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Not sure why they've Robbie Jackson from EastEnders on their graphic but here you go... (Spoiler: Ings is subbed on and scores in the 78th minute) Edited 3 hours ago by trousers 1
saintwbu Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I thought Stewart was alright first half Saturday, but second half he was anonymous. For a player who likes to drop deep he has a terrible first touch (on Saturday’s showing). Having said that, he’d still be my choice to start purely for being a presence, which none of our other options are. 1
Swaythling Saint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Happy with the team, hope Stewart can make his mark

Pleased with this lineup (again), and really happy it's an 'unchanged'.....when did we last do that? Hopeful that we'll build on the Scouse and 'Boro performances. COYRs.....um...Ys. 2
adrian lord Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The signs have been there starting with the Anfield performance: we should win this and it become a springboard for the rest of the season. 1

Turkish Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Fingers crossed we can win our 4th league game since May 2024 2
SaintNewForest Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 2 minutes ago, Suhari said: Yep. Last time in the Championship our form improved when Stephens was injured. I always laugh at this rewriting of history. With Stephens in the side, we went unbeaten for the first 5 games of the season. He got injured. We then got tonked every game and lost 4 games in a row after that. Amazing considering his injury was meant to make us improve. Yes, we then went on a 25 game unbeaten run without him in the side. However what people don't remember was Stephens did play a big part of the 2nd half of that run, so not sure why there's this narrative that Stephens getting injured made us improve. But then again, not like saints fans to rewrite history based on their own agendas.
