Convict Colony Posted yesterday at 20:35 Posted yesterday at 20:35 it's now at the point where before I thought we had a striker problem, now we have problems everywhere and no idea of style and manager 1
benjii Posted yesterday at 20:35 Posted yesterday at 20:35 5 minutes ago, Saint_clark said: Furious with these players at the moment, absolute pricks have let the previous manager down in key moments of games and by all accounts, senior members of the squad have played a big part in him getting the sack - now they put in the most uninspiring display of the season so far. Fucking wankers. This has been far better than a lot of other performances. That's not saying much, but to call this the most uninspiring display is nonsense. 2 4
Saint_clark Posted yesterday at 20:35 Posted yesterday at 20:35 We have some poisonous elements in the playing squad that need cutting out before we can make any kind of progress. I am seething at the moment. 2
S-Clarke Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 (edited) This is as bad as the Wotte and Port era without question. Not sure where we go from here, as we all knew before - the problems are way bigger than any manager. For us to recover any sort of competitiveness this year we initially need someone who can shake the shit out of these losers, drop a load in January, stabilise and then go from there. HarvSFC Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 Maybe we should have started the new manager search a couple of weeks back. 1
OneMrsWallace Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 In the space of a minute, AA fails to hold the ball up and Manning and Robinson miss simple passes. Still wasn't great as a manager but christ we can't do the very basics.

obelisk Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 And now a break to have a moan about all the Christmas adverts on telly. 1
SouSaint Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 These players are fucking garbage. Can't string 2 passes together, can't press, can't tackle. Pathetic. 4

If this had been Still (still) in charge you wouldn't be saying "well, this is better than a lot of our performances so far". 1 1
Hawkswood Posted yesterday at 20:37 Posted yesterday at 20:37 I've had a nightmare. I've just finished both my allotted sudokus.

benjii Posted yesterday at 20:37 Posted yesterday at 20:37 This system doesn't help anyone apart from the centre backs. Two CMs playing quite flat and screening 3 CBs with limited attempts to play between the lines. Fellows out of position. Robinson out of position. Armstrong running around on his own. Scienza class, as usual. Assuming we don’t change shape, I'd get Aribo on soon, if he's fit enough. Robinson has been very sloppy indeed. 4
Lee On Solent Saint Posted yesterday at 20:37 Posted yesterday at 20:37 We are desperately poor. QPR are actual dog shit, yet somehow we are even worse than them. This squad and club can just fuck off 1

stknowle Posted yesterday at 20:38 Posted yesterday at 20:38 I cannot believe how bad we are. Just comically hopelessly bad. We create NOTHING. 1
obelisk Posted yesterday at 20:38 Posted yesterday at 20:38 Have the so-called "senior" players ever stopped playing boring Russball across the back line?

SNSUN Posted yesterday at 20:38 Posted yesterday at 20:38 No shots on target, either team. And we’re not even winning possession stats. Tonda out. 😀
saintant Posted yesterday at 20:38 Posted yesterday at 20:38 You can't play wing backs without er, um ah wing backs. It's a pretty obvious concept. If you don't have proper wingbacks you have regular fullbacks, nobody in midfield and 7 at the back defending including the keeper and a defensive midfielder. When you eventually get the ball there is nowhere to go. It is not rocket science. 4
saintstowin Posted yesterday at 20:38 Posted yesterday at 20:38 Can't pass won't pass. Especially to Fellows. A low ebb. 1

The problem is that they cannot pass forward, they are passive and self preserving. They are looking after themselves and are too wimpish to play a forward pass at the fear of losing the ball. That's why the likes of Leo is out on the pheriphery as no one can get the ball to him. Downes = safe ball, because he's all about self preservation - just like his dad. Jander is catching the same elements of his game. In the CM you need players who can 1) break the game up and 2) stamp their foot and move/drive with the ball. We have neither, they just play it safe. As long as we continue to do that whatever we have wide is irrelevant. 2
Saint Fan CaM Posted yesterday at 20:39 Posted yesterday at 20:39 Betcha the Board/SR are cocka-hoop with the 0-0 their new Head Coach has delivered. Stopped the rot so far eh? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 1
Convict Colony Posted yesterday at 20:39 Posted yesterday at 20:39 anyone saying this is better then I've got some magic beans on sale on ebay. DM for details once in a lifetime deal 1 3

gammon cheeks Posted yesterday at 20:40 Posted yesterday at 20:40 Absolutely boring as fook ! 4 touches in Qprs box ...players are stuck in Russball mode

Fill the squad with midgets and weaklings and this is what you get. I screenshotted this earlier Admittedly our CBs were lined up on the 6 yard line but even so. These are all good, skilful players "with the ability to be worth more in 2 years time" but you can't fill a Championship team with small skilful players unless they are re-incarnated 1970s Brazil 2
AlexLaw76 Posted yesterday at 20:41 Posted yesterday at 20:41 Imagine the fun if Spors hires another wanky arsed 3-at-the-back hipster as the next manager It is unbearable 1
Convict Colony Posted yesterday at 20:41 Posted yesterday at 20:41 @Tractor_Saint getting a shout out on solent. Agree Armstrong isn't the answer 1
Farmer Saint Posted yesterday at 20:41 Posted yesterday at 20:41 Thierry Small scores again. Amazing how all these players flourish when they leave us. 2

Greedyfly Posted yesterday at 20:41 Posted yesterday at 20:41 Awful crap. Fucking manager looks scared of the team as well. Definitely do not give him the fucking job. 4

SfcPhil Posted yesterday at 20:41 Posted yesterday at 20:41 People taking about a chance of the playoffs.. give over. This is a stay up mission and one that I think we'll fail at. We needed a bigger clear out in the summer than anyone could've imagined. We need to literally start from scratch again. Unfortunately I think that'll be in league 1. 2

Terrifying that he is now tasked with picking the next manager. The issue is that he looked at them via Zoom - he wasn't stood next to them. Plus Spors looks like a small chap too so everyone looks tall to him 😉
