At least they seem to have noticed the bad clique and made moves to get rid of the childish twits. Hopefully this will help morale.

At least we seem to have finally accepted 442, and at the very least the Canadian's height will offer a target.

I'm clutching at straws, but it's something, I guess.

Good to have a keeper who isn't shit, totally agree.

Anyway I for one welcome a this new found love of tall physical centre forwards after years of smurfs.

The ladies of Southampton will be disappointed... 😜

What a stat.

That is quite staggering and our latest forward is unlikely to improve the stats.

Listening to the interview with Strand Larsen on SSN.

Doing a good job of pretending to really want to play for Crystal Palace.

Spreading the goals around, why have one goal scorer who can be closely marked when you can have 45

And why bother having a top goalscorer when you can have 45 individual scorers! No wonder why we’re selling our top goalscorer. Brilliant business from the lads again 👏 👏

Whatever way you wanna dress this up losing your proven top scorer for a poxy ass 7m and replacing him with a crappy journeyman striker in a 3 year goal drought looks anything but ambitious , if we had brought in larin as a downs replacement fair enough

The biggest shame is I think we where finally starting to look like we could make a proper push for the play offs sadly I think this is the death of that

Quantity , not quality, is the key here. Keep the opposition guessing

Yes it definitely feels they are hedging to preserve resources for a push next year. Guess that"s the reality of being in mid table, nowhere near automatic spots.

I think I read we have 15 players out on loan at the moment? That’s ridiculous if true and highlights how shoddy our recruitment has been

That's him and Akachukwu on the same day. Loaning them out ready to use them as our strike force next season. 😁

Has Adam Armstrong gone to Wolves? I haven’t seen any confirmation he has, or indeed hasn’t!

Passed medical deal sheet in just waiting for announcement

From The Echo website:

9:12pm

🚨 Plan remains the same. Armstrong to Wolves announced soon, and then the loan signing of Larin from Mallorca shortly after.

There's a plan, at any rate..

Well, the Canadian looks like he might have been a feasible replacement for Downs (not a high bar, potential big man option off the bench) but a replacement for Armstrong our top scoring striker? Wow, hard to see as anything but another nail in the coffin of our ambition.

It will be Edozie reintegration PR next few days

What a club we’ve become. 😂
Selling your top scorer mid season.

One thing I will commend the club for is for shifting on Armel Bella-Kotchap, one of the worst attitude players I’ve known; Joe Aribo, if we can add Sam Edozie then fair play.

Not transfer news but this is a nice touch from Wolves. I'm going to steal my daughter's food from SMS next time I'm there and see if Sammy Saint does anything about it. 😁

Selling your top scorer mid season and replacing him with a striker yet to find the net this season. Can’t make it up.

I, for one, am really pleased to see AA out the door. All this top scoring nonsense. His misses at Blackburn and Portsmouth arguably lost us six points and with those points we'd be knocking on the door of the play off places. And in the Sheff Utd & Stoke games we looked better without him.

Let's see what Larin does. Won't be any worse than AA.

Think there is a pretty high chance Larin is going to be worse in terms of goals scored than AA….

Welcome Cyle. And Good Luck, you're going to need it.

I think that is the crucial point. We've long been used to his misses, mind.

Perhaps we can have Cyle start the odd game, bully the defenders a bit and get them running around, get a CB booked, possibly even score a goal (!) and then bring on Stewart to finish it off.. We can all dream, can't we, and then wish him well on his world cup venture after scoring 8 goals for us.

If you sell your top goalscorer in January and sign a journeyman replacement with zero Championship experience and a poor recent goal scoring record, the clear message to the outside world is that you’ve given up. SR have actively chosen to weaken the squad which is very bizarre for a club who profess ambition.

I get it now.  I didn't realise we were signing five players.  I assumed that sigining Cyle Larin was a single being.

Also, was the audio in that video only coming from the left channel?

It’s a very clear 442, this is the setup every reset.

All the moaning about selling our top scorer 🙄. Let's be honest he's fucking wank. If we had even a half decent forward he would have scored more than Armstrong. He misses more than he scores. He's part of the reason we are mid table. This league isn't very good. If we had a lambert or beattie up front we would have this league wrapped up already

The guy who hasn't scored all season? You confident of that?! 😂
