Scienza anonymous today, at least Azaz looks lively. Would be nice if Scienza, Fellows and Azaz could all turn up in the same match

Saints playing absolute shite listening to the radio.

Jo Tessem is tactically spot on. These are mad times. I’ve hard the words “overrun in midfield”, “Scienza needs to play more out wide”, there is no point in a back three because we have no attack”.

Says it all.

Just out of interest, why do we fans believe we should just dominate every game, especially against one of the best teams in the League, and away from home, when we have a shit defence and keeper (and it has been proven across multiple years and multiple Managers the players are wank) and a massively overrated CM in Downes (who is meant to control the ball and the game). We are in a league where, famously, any team can beat any team, and is one of the toughest and most competitive leagues in the world.

I don't understand why our fans seem to be so fucking entitled.

Just before we took that throw-in near their corner flag I said to my son: "watch this end back at our keeper".... What a predictable joke this team is...

You might but I don't. What i do believe is that we should be seeing some decent joined up football in this league. We did in Eckert's first seven games but now he's changed back to Russball and slow walking football without the urgency to make vertical forward passes.

Weird half, very poor in parts but probably should have scored twice.

Not sure anyone will be upset if Scienza doesn't appear in the second half today.

Strange match. 

A lot of what we've done is crap, but when we do manage to string a couple of passes together in their half we look like scoring and have had three very good chances.

Feeding off the players non work ethic, the give nothing for the badge, just need to turn up to win attitude seemingly prevalent at the moment.

At least two great chances for Saints to score in that half. Downes really has to score but Fellows' miss was worse. Just no composure.

I don't think he's changed back, I think we had room in those games to play the way we did under Martin as teams thought we were utter shit still.

Don't forget, SR did not want to sack RM, so playing the same way makes complete sense.

I'm watching via the club website with blackmore's commentary. Honestly, he's an awful commentator. Misses obvious things, adds his nonsense takes and opinions like a blathering idiot, and frankly knows very very little about football. I didn't realise just how bad he is as a commentator until i started watching to his commentary. Its bad, really bad. The times where Tessem just choses not to say anything (to avoid making this obvious) do make me chuckle though 😄.

Even basic stuff, like saying something is a foul or a dive when its not, lamenting players and being overly negative for not shooting or crossing etc., when actually they've done about as well as could be expected. If you listen to games via his commentary, you need to be aware that you're sadly getting his partisan and rather poorly informed take of the game's events.

I will. Plenty of times he's been in space but we are too slow to get him the ball. That said, Azaz is having a decent game and so would Fellows be if he hadn't spaffed two good chances.
