Baird of the land Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Taking Charles off was a really bad move. Peretz with a big chance to pull of a save for their equaliser too 3
Jimmy_D Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Good game, two points dropped, daylight robbery by that bunch of cheating ****s and a ref that had lost his cards first half. 1
BotleySaint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Annoying not to get the win. But not the end of the world. We can still mount a late charge for the playoffs. 3
Convict Colony Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Surprise surprise another performance where scoring is incredibly hard work. Why always us

Willo of Whiteley Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Appalling result. When you look at other teams and how they cope with their opposition; Pompey smashing Charlton and Millwall, two teams we couldn’t; Wrexham beating Ipswich etc - it says a lot about us. 4

Saint NL Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Start and end the day in the same position, 4 points off 6th. No excuses against QPR now 1
CB Fry Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I'd say people on here need to stop twatting on about other teams drawing and losing games. We will get into the play offs because of what we achieve ourselves. Watford beating Derby was fucking useful wasn't it lads. Edited 2 hours ago by CB Fry 1

obelisk Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Saints needed a killer instinct in that game. Instead too much slow, sideways, lackadaisical stuff early on. 2
verlaine1979 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Azaz and Fellows both look like £5m champ journeymen tops.

saintant Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Missed opportunity today because other teams have lost points. Need to win the next two that's for sure. There will be ups and downs in this run-in so no need to panic yet. 1

Harry_SFC Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago One thing I would say is Edozie looked a lot more useful than Fellows. Azaz needs dropping.
OneMrsWallace Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Play-offs suddenly in touching distance and I reckon some jitters kicked in. We still have some mental fragility to deal with so not surprising. Unbeaten run continues but we need to find an extra gear from here to get back in to the mix. 3

Wonder if the speculation that Bundesliga teams are interested in him has gone to his head.

Vancouver Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We lost that because we can't defend. We always knew we'd need that second goal didn't we...

Micky Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Don't think we really showed any true promotion credentials today given the amount of ball we had and the shots we had. Dominated the ball but failed to find a way to win, dropped points to the only shot on target in the second half, should the keeper have saved it, looked like it to me. Two points down the drain as far as I'm concerned, really need to win the next two.
Baird of the land Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Frustrating as we did the hard work of piercing their dogged deep defending and then had a spell after charles sub where we were bullied.(could have conceded a 2nd with that goalline clearance). Playoffs are still very much alive though
saintant Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just now, tdmickey3 said: No one is panicking its obvious we aren`t making the playoffs and today just underlined why Ok, if you say so but there's a lot of points still to play for. Not the result we wanted but, win the next two and that's 20 points out of 24 - not many sides will match that. Just got to win the next two now 🙂 1
bugenhagen Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It's all about how we respond in the next games. Will it be with wins, or will it be with another draw and a loss? Too many subs at the same time agian (65th and 71st), it completely disrupted us, and we were not in it for about 20 minutes. Only in the last 10 min of extra time did we apply any pressure again. 1
Mboto Gorge Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Shite result. And even more worrying, we haven’t scored more than 1 goal in a league game at st Mary’s since WBA on 9th December. We surely need to be scoring more goals at home with the players we have at our disposal. Manager needs to sort it out 3
Jack Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 2 minutes ago, Vancouver Saint said: We lost that because we can't defend. We always knew we'd need that second goal didn't we... Lost that because we were timid and lacked urgency against a shit side who were there for the taking. Boring, slow, side to side bullshit and obsession with possession rather than playing in the right areas. If we’d come out and attacked them properly, conceding 1 wouldn’t have been an issue. 3
JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 2 hours ago, hypochondriac said: Not necessarily. I didn't know any Oxford players earlier in the season and they beat us. Just saw conor coady is playing didn't even realise he was at Charlton. You're being obtuse now. Grimsby beat Manchester United earlier in the season in the league cup. Doesn't mean they had any players of the equivalence of Man utd. Just Manchester United played shit. Same with Saints versus Oxford and the shitty draw today. 1
LGTL Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Well that went exactly as expected. The only surprise was we didn’t lose. It’s an awful result. Azaz is fucking shit. 1

Mboto Gorge Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) 6 minutes ago, saintant said: Hadn't realised that and it's a concern for sure. Yep, 6 games now. 5 goals in The last 6 home games. Thats nowhere near good enough and indicates that we are seriously struggling to break teams down and are way too slow in our build up, Allowing teams to get organised and sit in while we pass the ball slowly in front of them. Far too much of this against far poorer sides on paper. The Oxford game at home next month will be absolutely identical to this, you wait. Edited 2 hours ago by Mboto Gorge 5
