Willo of Whiteley Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago 3-1 win for us. Not convinced we’ll keep a clean sheet but we need to absolutely bully the teenagers that SW will have playing. We can’t be complacent.
BARCELONASAINT Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago The pressure is all on Saints, no one expects a Wednesday side that have only won one league game all season to get anything form todays game. They will be playing with complete freedom now that relegation has been confirmed and will absolutely want to put in a performance against the money bags team of this division. I expect us to win, we absolutely have to win to stay in the hunt for a playoff place but i won't lie I am nervous about this afternoons game. 3
sfc4prem Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Wednesday might well play with complete freedom today, but they're quite shite, if I may say. Let me just give you a quick formula for this match today: Playing with freedom + relatively shite + inexperienced + nothing to play for + demoralised + injuries to players + playing against a team in high spirits + playing against a team with some quality players = 5-0 win for Southampton. Happy to help. 1
vectraman Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Saints to win comfortably 2-0, control the game, nothing to see here. Hopefully! COYR

Obstacle1 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I had a dream that Fellows started scoring regularly. Is Welington back yet? Its only a matter of time before we concede due to a Manning cockup

No i was with some Man City fans after the game, we were already relegated on 11 points pre-match, they had Foden, De Bruyne and Haaland up front and at the time needed points for Champions league qualifying It *should* have been a straight forward win for them. Your best bet is to stay in the centre and then jump on a yellow route tram towards Middlewood which stops right near the stadium.
davefizzy14 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) I'm predicting a comfortable win for us today - 2-0 Stewart and Scienza to score 😊 COYR 😊 Edited 4 hours ago by davefizzy14
Wade Garrett Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Up to Bragg, Charles and Larin to take their chance. Lets fucking smash the skint wankers.
BARCELONASAINT Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago oh i hope to god Stewart hasn't picked up another injury
Chez Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 1 minute ago, AllyD said: No Stewart on the bench either???!! or Jander. Hopefully they are just being rested. Robinson can't get a slot on the bench either these days.
HarvSFC Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Unfortunately, this is why we can't give Stewart a new contract. A real shame. Very dependent on Larin keeping fit for the rest of the season now.

Hopefully both are being rested. I think the same for Flynn too. Good to see Bragg starting. Romeu on the bench too. Jay is still coming back from a quad injury. Edited 3 hours ago by davefizzy14
VectisSaint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Stewart and Jander both missing altogether is a bit of a concern, Presser yesterday said no new concerns. Arguably Jander not so much of an issue, Charles and Bragg certainly capable with Downes and Romeo on the bench.
James G Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think it'll be 3-1 to us, they'll equalise, and I think we'll score one from a free kick

UpweySaint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago to be fair if Stewart was going to miss any gam this would have probably been the one we would have picked. We should still have enough to get the job done while giving him chance to rest. Hard to argue with the other changes 🤷♂️ 1

Yes. We should beat SWFC without him and the cup game he can be rested for if needed. So should be no harm done. Larin should bully SWFC into submission. Even Archer should cause them problems. Please don't fuck this up Saints. 2

Lord Duckhunter Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Downes will miss Coventry if he’s booked, so probably sensible to leave him on the bench all game if possible.
Baird of the land Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Wondered if they might rest downes with him being so close to yelllow card limit Hope its just precautionary with Stewart. Did wonder if he even needed to come on Tuesday, given the lead. 1
ButtikonSaint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Wishful prediction - continue on from mid-week. Score 5, without reply, give some playing time to fringe players and ease in for next match... Please.
Saint NL Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago IPTV seems to be back to normal after a tricky midweek game
saintstowin Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Even though the world is ending I'll be really annoyed if we don't win today.
coalman Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I wish Blackmore wasn't so certain we were going to win.

Whilst it was frustrating to watch Tonda keep taking off our best player after 60 mins in mid winter we are now in a position where we have almost the whole squad available, when most of the league are walking wounded. I would be happy to start with Charles and Bragg in midfield for example. Maybe Edozie and Matsuki too. But continue to bring on the rested players for 10-25 mins to keep them involved and up to speed. 3 out of 4 not bad! 😁
