To any Grizzleboro fans browsing this;

You had three chances of promotion and fluffed them all.......

Autos- choked

Playoff semi - your strikers couldn't score in a brothel, your team were knackered after 60 minutes

Playoff final - ditto, plus your GK did an excellent impression of Gavin Bazunu

You didn't go up because of YOUR failings, not for any other reason. The only team to lose both the semi and final of a knockout competition in the same season.

Now PISS OFF and SHUT THE FUCK UP !!!!

On reflection I think less statements from the club might be better.

Maybe you should publish your reflections  - Musings from a Plum?

Tut tut Wrighty... You should know by now (by order of the Saintsweb intelligentsia) that you're not allowed to compare one type of 'cheating' with another.... ;)

our cheating is worse because The Daily Mail and BBC said so. And because Saints don’t cheat ever we feel ashamed and their g sackcloth and ashes over ourselves.

NEWSFLASH : Footballers cheat to win all the time and it’s approved by all of US as long as we win and don’t get caught - ask Man City and Liverpool fans! you don’t get caught it’s called professional football, you get caught how good are your lawyers? Ours were shit.

I hope to see wailing here next time a Saints player kicks the ball deliberately against an opponents hand in the penalty area or Leo deliberately runs into a player to get a free kick or our player writhes in agony from a nothing challenge or our gk falls over with a bad leg when we need a timeout….the list of CHEATING offences Saints been up to in plain sight is endless- except it’s not just us - it’s ALL of them. The hypocrisy I foresee next season of opposing fans calling US cheats when their own players practice these exact same cheating actions will be so ironic and tone-deaf as to beggar belief.

I am looking forward to the interaction with opposition fans, bring it on especially those pricks from the Charity robbing FC twats down the road but it will be joyous to watch boro lot frothing at the mouth over it all...

I think next season home and away getting a free kick a penalty or a card given to opponents will be 10x harder.
Fans will call us cheats every time player falls over. We in turn will do same when one of theirs falls over. It will be predictably boring as fuck.
New black humour songs will be sung “ he cheats to the left he cheats to the right Tonda Eckert he cheats where he likes”……or “ OWTS…go marching in ….OWTS go marching in …..we’re gonna spy on your training ….OWTS go marching in” or the team go out on the pitch to the theme tune from James Bond films….our mascots carry binoculars all next season……Saints logo binoculars on sale in club shop …giant Inflateable binoculars…new signings vids all done via long zoom on an iPhone from behind a tree…the list is endless…I expect a Netflix series out of it!

Just been reading the HYS comments on the various strands of the BBC's coverage. The hyperbolic hypocrisy of fans from other clubs is incredible:

"Should be relegated to League1", "Should have been 20 points deducted", "Solak should be barred from owning a football club", etc, etc. Yet once the new season starts they'lll be baying for a penalty every time a player from their club trips over himself in the penalty area, for an opponent to get a red card whenever one of their team dives and fakes an injury, or celebrating wildly when the international star they financed through illicit means wins a match for them. Players "steal" yards at throwins, try to claim corners or goal kicks despite knowing they last touched the ball. There are many "in game" acts that can potentially influence a match far more than breaking the 72 hour rule.

Football runs on cheating, it is not only tolerated, it is expected. It is lauded as "professionalism" by the sanctimonious media. Yet for some reason the people making these comments, or publishing their "opinion" pieces won't be satisfied until Tonda and Dragan have been publicly crucified.

No one likes us, WE DON'T CARE.

UTFS !!!!!

Henry winter. What a massive jizz mopping mong and a raging hypocrite.

He's worth putting in the bin now, clearly influenced by the EFL/Boro in some way. How he can change his view in such an extreme way from Bielsa to Tonda is embarrassing. It's put his entire credence as a journo in the bin for me, not worth listening to. Easily influenced rather than coming up with his own view.

Quite encouraged by those statements

MEFLbrough have a lot to answer for

They have absolutely nothing to answer for at all apparently. They are the wronged party and we are the pantomime villains who have been kicked out of the play off final and deducted 4 points from next season's total. If the EFL or the FA had some sort of case against them then they will pursue it, but they don't so they won't.

Henry Winter is hard to ignore but it's well worth making the effort.

Just a thought but imagine the shitstorm there would have been if we’d beaten Ipswich and as a result they’d not gone up.

Situation may not get much worse.

I'd bet on Eckert getting a suspended ban and the club getting an FA warning.

Depends if the FA ban him or not. If they don't or it's a short ban then the season will start and we will be distracted by that.

Eckert is going to need some serious counselling to ignore the vocal abuse coming his way, his touchline flare up against the Boro manager, said to me, he get Mr angry pretty quickly and how will he react with thousands of football fans calling him a 'cheating bastard' every week.

Im going to say zero shitstorm because if we’d beaten Ipswich they still would have gone up.

He seems like someone hyper focused on football and pretty unemotional to be honest. Almost to the point that it wouldn't surprise me if he was a little on the spectrum. That makes him ideally suited imo to any supposed hostile atmosphere. If he's winning I doubt he will care at all.

He's pretty much the exact opposite of a Nathan Jones character who I think would be the absolute last person you would want in charge of your club in this sort of scenario. Overly emotional is not a characteristic I would use to describe Tonda.

i actually unfollowed him about 4-5 months ago as he has just become a rent for hire story merchant like Fab (also unfollowed him).  Depending who wants info out there (agents, clubs etc) he is just writing posts sucking off certain people clubs etc.

His name as a proper journalist 10-20yrs ago got him access to information but as payback those people now wanted puff piece post as well

Problem ->Emotions about problem -> Problem is still there

Emotions produce nothing, once you stopped having emotions you still have the problem so lets skip that step.

This is the way

Thank you KZ6-32RT. Welcome to Tonda's new analyst team. Should you be caught, activate the self destruct button.

It's all since he was made redundant from The Times. Found himself increasingly on TalkSport and writing his own pieces. This has meant he's needed to become edgy and over-opiniated to stay relevant.

Possibly nobody would ever have known. Nobody would be waiting for him to appear behind a tree at Boro.

Alternatively it could have been good for sales of Eastleigh tracksuits.

In a way I am happy they have come out for statements, but on the other hand it means we have to go through all a media circus 🤡, hopefully one last time.

Does Tonda deserve a second chance?
Tonda will not be sacked, what do you think

oh just sod off now… but of course there will be more when the FA hearing is complete. Should have come out with what they did today when the World Cup started or Englands first game!

Drives me nuts, the way they look to hype things up and twist the knife a bit more!

They just need to wait now until we are losing games or winning games next season to start with some more rubbish depending on how well or bad we are doing! Never ends!

I really didn't think you could get thicker than a supporter of Portsmouth Community Football Club, but Middlesbrough fans have truly taken idiocy to hitherto unchartered heights....

Wow, cretins. Didn't Helborg himself say they're preparing for the final straight after losing to Saints anyway.

I dont understand fans and how they think.
