Whether he could score at the scale Saints need is another story. I’m sure they’ve gauged his potential. Think there are other alternatives out there who could do the same job but at a more competitive cost of transfer fee... think Pedro Lima, Demir Peco, or even Graham Farish for that matter.

suewhistle Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago HO HO HO, we're going for a continental alternative, but from memory they only score 1 in 87.

Divergent Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I’m looking for some fire in our engine room but agree need to be on guard against any passengers. Hornby could be the ticket or the pearl in our oyster. 1

Verbal Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I do find it interesting how you can carbon-date posters on here by the jokes they tell. Did not know, e.g., that GS was a grandad.

Plus both sets of grandparents coming from Eastleigh it was inevitable.. 1

No just pragmatic and see his end of season vs whole season perception barometer being out of whack. We've already got Downes/Bragg for his largely defensive role, so if we need to cash in big(like we did with Dibling last year) he could be a prime candidate

Miltonaggro Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I quite like the idea of Fraser Hornby taking up Ross Stewart's spot - replacing a 6ft 2' beanpole with a 6ft 5' brick shithouse. Could be interesting if he gets on the pitch with Larin at the same time - always a chance of the Bravehearts with a big Jock.
