revolution saint Posted yesterday at 17:42 Posted yesterday at 17:42 (edited) Is Akachukwu playing midfield? Don't know much about him but I thought he was more of a wide player? Whoever plays there the midfield looks pretty weak although I if you decide not to play Downes or Matsuki then I it's always going to look like that. Don't think taking young kids and playing them out of position is best for their development but guess we'll see. Edited yesterday at 17:54 by revolution saint

Also interesting to see Bowen on the bench for them with rumours he may still be off. Does it only cup-tie him if he comes on? And see it's 25 years ago today since the first league fixture at St Mary's. FFS. Edited yesterday at 17:44 by TheAlehouseBrawlers Typo 1
hypochondriac Posted yesterday at 17:46 Posted yesterday at 17:46 Slightly bizarre decision to play Scienza imo. Really need him fit and firing for next week. Surprised Edozie didn't start. 3
Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 17:50 Posted yesterday at 17:50 Bowen has already announced he’s staying
Disco Stu Posted yesterday at 17:51 Posted yesterday at 17:51 Stronger lineup than I anticipated. I just hope there's no injuries. 2

Tom57 Posted yesterday at 17:52 Posted yesterday at 17:52 Maybe a 4-1-2-1-2??? We will basically have no midfield whatever we do with that lineup I'd have thought 🤔

hypochondriac Posted yesterday at 17:54 Posted yesterday at 17:54 Just now, egg said: That was my initial thought, but he looks unfit and slightly off it, so on balance I think he needs the game There were reports he had a shoulder injury from the Watford game. I assume it was the lack of sleep from that rather than the injury itself that caused the poor performance on Saturday otherwise I can't see why they would risk him before Saturday.

whelk Posted yesterday at 17:56 Posted yesterday at 17:56 We were around 6/4 to win tonight and now odds on.

Colinjb Posted yesterday at 17:59 Posted yesterday at 17:59 Good line-up with a strong bench. Just very youthful in CM. Nice to see we are taking it seriously. 3
Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 18:01 Posted yesterday at 18:01 Another line up that suggests who is and isn’t in Tonda’s plans
Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 18:02 Posted yesterday at 18:02 James Ward-Prowse not in the West Ham squad. Come on conspiracy theorists! Do your thing! 😂 3

In terms of physical size Bragg is, but Akachukwu is huge. So not lightweight in that sense. Edited yesterday at 18:10 by Matthew Le God

Apparently patched things up this summer and he's had ganetine in their last few games. Edited yesterday at 18:05 by hypochondriac
trousers Posted yesterday at 18:08 Posted yesterday at 18:08 Most West Ham fans I've seen online saying this is "the weakest WH line up they've ever seen..."

Probably not interested in the Carabao Cup. Still at 25 quid they could make an effort. Suppose it's not their fans paying

trousers Posted yesterday at 18:17 Posted yesterday at 18:17 Players arriving for the game by coach... Bit overkill for round 2 of the EFL cup...?
spyinthesky Posted yesterday at 18:21 Posted yesterday at 18:21 Where is our Danish, ex Brentford, right back? He must rival Ross Stewart for time on the treatment table!! What happens if BReeeee gets injured? 1

So, he's either injured or we're re-signing him in a few days... 2 + 2 = 5 Edited yesterday at 18:27 by trousers 1

benjii Posted yesterday at 18:36 Posted yesterday at 18:36 I would've thought Dobbin would be deeper with O'Akachukwu on the wing and Scienza behind Divin.

Suhari Posted yesterday at 18:45 Posted yesterday at 18:45 Decent lineup. Curious who plays alongside Bragg. 3-0 Saints.
