His brother is Nico Schlotterbeck at Dortmund. Augsburg are what you may call a Bournemouth been in lower divisions but now top flight for several years. Depending on how many games he's played and if 90 mins then could have a lot of experience. 

See his EA stats which are taken from real stats vs N Wood. Im sure our army of data analysts have checked him out.

Stephens, for all his faults, isn’t a player I associate with getting bullied. If anything he is more prone to losing his discipline, like he did with Cucurella, and just generally having terrible brain farts

Agreed. He has had a poor start to the season and has his limitations as a player but some of the hyperbole is OTT in my opinion. It’s good to have a genuine alternative but I would have concerns about throwing in a new player to a CB pairing without at least giving him a bit of time to get up to speed with how we play.

Stephens has made 3 big errors in the first 4 games and we are already 7 points behind the automatic promotion places. I'm not sure it's a necessity that he needs to know how we play. I just want someone who won't give the ball straight to the opposition in front of the goal.

This German ‘expert’ suggesting that Keven reinforces our options rather than improves them. Focusing a bit on Woods age and potential to improve further.

On paper he does appear to be an improvement to me. Guess we will find out soon enough.

Does he spray wayward passes across the pitch that go to an attacking player for them to score? Probably not. Upgrade on Jack then. 

A low bar has been set amongst our CBs. I'm hoping he's more Jos Hooiveld than Danny Seaborne.

If the stats are right Keven is a slight step-up from THB, but a proper left footer so for me he’s a Capt’n Jack replacement. If so, then that represents good business as we definitely needed to raise the quality of the CB pairing significantly and this does that even if he’s got Wood beside him. Trouble is, unless he’s here and training with the team before Saturday, I don’t see him getting played immediately as otherwise there’s the risk of even more chaos.

If medical was yesterday you’d expect an announcement today, so signed in time to play but a big question mark if we would throw him straight in. Big game on Saturday against a promotion rival, could really do with Jander and Schlotterbeck in the team but not confident we will have either available.

Think even the bench feels unlikely but we are desperate for a better option in midfield. I hope he can make the bench and feature but I have a feeling we won’t see him until the window slams shut, if he stays.

I like the additions of 'experienced' players like this. Nothing wrong with 'yoof', but getting some experience down the spine of the team is also necessary (good experience, not Stephens experience)

This guy has good top flight pedigree in Germany. Spors has certainly earned our trust with the Jander and Leo pick ups from Germany, but let's hope he's not another Downs.
