obelisk Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Can't argue with 2-0 at half time but they've had good chances to score more. Finishing still a bit rusty.

Saint NL Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Happy with that. Look a lot sharper today, good to see. Hopefully we can get a clean sheet and make this a routine win from here.
JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Very good half. Hopefully can keep it up in the second half too. Shame they couldn't make 3-0 a couple of minutes ago with the shot going over.
Patches O Houlihan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Happy with that Wood playing really well. Bree is on it. Nice link up between Manning and Scienza. Larin looking sharp. Lots to like Just hope that when our first eleven get tired with this high pressing that the subs can pull their finger out and keep the pressure on. 1
Saint_clark Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago We'd be top without the minus 4. Maybe this season isn't going too badly, eh? 4
hypochondriac Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Now imperative that we kick on in the second half and don't sit back, bring inferior subs on and let them snatch a result. Praying I don't have to quote this post at full time when it proves to be prophetic. 3
RedArmy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago JWP’s defensive positioning is so good. Doesn’t need to press or get stuck in, just puts himself in the perfect place to slow the attack down which allows others to come in and make the tackle. I really wasn’t sure about bringing him back but he is still a cut above in this league. 8
SNSUN Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Less possession tonight and we're winning two nil. Are you watching Russell Martin?
stknowle Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Excellent stuff two very tidy finishes. Need the 3rd to kill it off, Swansea decent despite not creating any chances so far.
Disco Stu Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Well, can't complain about that half. Defended well. Attacked well. 2-0 the least we deserve. 1
benjii Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Nice stuff on the ball and look to be balancing press with massed defence quite well. We still look a bit sleepy at times though. Two lovely goals. Fair play to Wood for the pass to Bree. 1
saintant Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Excellent first half from us with two well worked goals from open play as reward. Swansea have had plenty of possession but not done much with it so far and we might have added another from the chances we've created. Need to come out fast in the second half and look to finish them off. Hopefully Tonda gets his subs right today. A win here will be very useful against the team that arrived sitting on top of the table. 1
Patches O Houlihan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago By the way - Schlotterbeck - what a signing that looks like 6
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago An excellent half. 2 goals to the good, with a fair bit of variation in our attack. They've had the ball, and some attacks, but we've been solid. 1
OneMrsWallace Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Sitting in a cave bar in Majorca with a very large sangria watching the feed. Unbelievably there are some Swansea fans here 🤣 1

ButtikonSaint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago When we're at it, we're easily a 5 goal team. Let's push on, punish all teams at home this season.... COYR 1

UpweySaint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago My maths may be wrong but would we be top in a live table without the -4? It’s a good watch this evening and we’re playing some good stuff!

Saint86 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Without the 4 point deduction, we'd currently be top. And yet we've had some fans calling for Eckert to go on social media etc. 🤣😆 Edited 3 hours ago by Saint86
macca155 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Great half so far, fabulous through balls from both CBs to set up the goal. JWP and Downes are owning the midfield. Fellows and Bree are really finding space, and causing havoc That's the performance of a top two side. Good times 2

obelisk Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago What we don't want is a slow start to the 2nd half letting them back in early on. Statement of the obvious I know but it needs saying. Get a third and then Tonda can start to think about his subs spreadsheet. 1

madge Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Hope we come out with high energy and tempo for a change at the second Half. Scienza needs more of the ball. He’s got the fullback on toast.. 1

gallaghert366@yahoo.com Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Much, much better with a midfield moving the ball forwards at pace.

As I type this just been positive about Larin as well. Wah wah waaaaaaah Swansea bias. It’s funny how every single commentator hates. Considering most of them probably grew up in our catchment area that’s highly unlikely 1

SNSUN Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago JWP free kick top bins would really finish this off nicely...

CSA96 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago HT change for Swansea, they've taken Opoku off and put Ronald on
obelisk Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Wake up Saints. That was too easy for Swansea. Still 2-0.
SNSUN Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Swansea getting chances but not taking then. We play as well as we did first half and this should be 3 points in the bag. Hope we keep up the intensity, lovely forward passing first half.
