Eddie Mitchell Stirs The Pot Before Cherries Game

I have no problem with Bournemouth inviting whoever they want to the game. I think its a nice touch that they have invited LM & MLT.

What I do have a problem with is that mouthpiece **** spreading his usual muck in the media, how contradictory is this?!!!

“I don’t hold any grudges,”

Asked by the Daily Echo whether he had been aware of events surrounding the recent anniversary celebrations at Southampton, Mitchell replied: “Yes, I was aware. That is their business. I think we would have done things differently.”

LOL!!!

“We are also going to invite a few people from Southampton to make them feel wanted.

Goon.....I rest my case

perhaps he should concentrate less on self-promotion and more on paying his barbills.

Do Hartlepool pretend to be Newcastle's rivals? Are Everton worried about Tranmere?

As we pointed out to them earlier, there is only one south coast derby.

This isn't it.

It's just a big game against promotion rivals, as is Charlton etc, his attempt to play mind games has fallen rather flat and made him look even sillier than he did when he ignored his invoices.

Obviously Eddie is having trouble selling Hostility seats for the game, a last ditch attempt by him to find someone who may want to go? keep looking for money Eddie, you know you'll find it under a rock before too long. How's the Construction Industry these days?

Was that deliberate?

Well they might if they were in the same league. There's no point us giving it the billy big b ollocks attitude when it comes to bompey seeing as they're above us in the table (a fact that I find bloody embarrasing I have to say).

We may say we do not care what he says....but just watch this thread grow exponentially....

I didn't even know who he was 10 minutes ago, this reminded me. However, I am contributing little or nothing to this thread other than to say "I think what he's doing is pretty funny", so let's not get all confused that post count = level of interest.

They do appear to be treating it like a Cup Final though.

Still tickets available on Tuesday...Saints mate of mine walked up to the ticket office & bought 2 tickets :)

if this is true, what are people waiting for? get down there and lets fill the ground with our own fans, serves them right for only giving us 1300 allocation.

Reminds me of the build up to Colchester V Norwich last year although that was worse due to the Paul Lambert factor. Norwich avenged that shock opening day result at Carrow by battering Colchester 5-0 on their own patch and our players have to take the same tough attitude and crush Bournemouth. If we give them a hiding it will make Bournemouth fade very quickly out of the automatic promotion race.

its bloody funny to be honest. cortese and the club 'legends' need their f@cking heads banging together.

It bores me to be honest Tactics and it's just a cruddy little club with a 3-sided ground trying to make waves. Don't get me wrong, all credit to their players' achievements which on zero budget is amazing but it is also an indictment of this season's overall underperformance by our players that they are above us. The players need to ignore the local element and focus on the fact it'll be 2nd V 4th and therefore it's a must-win game if we are finish 2nd or better. Hopefully a good strong central midfield partnership of Chaplow and Hammond should douse Boscombe's initial enthusiasm and give us a platform to win comfortably.

ahh loving the post in that link from Trebor_1970, sent at 12.32, in which he reckons a mate of his may defect from supporting Saints to supporting Bournemouth instead. Apparently due to broken and unfulfilled promises coming out of the club and too many false statements... genius.

Haha what a total douche! Also, why would sky put it on TV!? They're trying to build up into some monumentous occasion. I hope it's a really drab game which we win 2-0 and never leave second gear. That would **** them off.

But this is the heroic leader of plucky little Bompey - you know, the man with such massive dreams for his club that when his manager left a few weeks ago he said that his aim is to consolidate their position in League ONE...

Every time I read their message board it makes me feel sick. I don't think Saints fans are arrogant (as we are often accused) but any fan can be forgiven for flicking the V's at Portsmouth's retarded brother, dribbling out Scummer insults at every opportunity trying to get attention.

They deserve a massive, massive hammering.

I love how people compare really cr*p chairmen with ours as if that then means we can excuse ours every time we feel there is room for improvement.

Exactly. In rhetoric, this is known as the fallacy of the alternative disjunct. Like saying that, because somebody is gay or old, they won't make good parents.
