Obviously bigging him up for the Jan window !

TBF Tonda can hardly say ‘yeah, he’s a lazy fat layabout’ even if he thinks it. The likes of Redknapp used to but only after a long career. Not at the start they didn’t.

Ari-bo more like Arib-go. Zero effort for a lot of weekly wage.

I thought he was injured when he came on. It could be in his contract that he must play a certain amount of games.

Usually I'm blinkered about our players, while they are here, and blindly optimistic. As an example, I still think downs needs minutes. I like Stephens.  I thought Mara was ok. I wanted Carrillo to have more of a chance. I thought dia showed flashes of skill. Baz is in my top eight all time saints keepers.

Even I can see aribo has been hopeless. What is his top speed? I don't think we know, because his acceleration is so slow that he never gets there. He needs a hundred yards to gather momentum and as such, just lopes around and watches players run past and away from him. I always consider it game over when he comes on. He's like the antichrist. Or the Antiscienza.

It is a real shame as he's shown he's a good player on the rare occasion, so is it just consistency or laziness or indeed both?

Antiscienza, love it 🤣

Yeah he wasn't very good, we lost the entire control of that midfield once Jander went off and he came on.

He was awful. That tackle by the way - red card worthy, no idea wtf he was doing. He's so off the pace it's unreal.

Feels like he’s been bought back in purely because he’s getting paid a meaty salary so we want something for our money. But it’s time to just pay him off and be done with it. The fact he wears number 7 adds more insult.

He doesn’t want to be here, we don’t want him. See ya.

It’s a shame about Aribo. When he joined I was quite excited. He was highly rated had been good at Rangers and started off pretty well but never really did much with us. Always thought he was better than given credit for but probably best for everyone he leaves and probably should have gone 18 months ago

He looks lost when playing further forward. How we now play is stretching teams and running/passing into space etc

Aribo is very much a player who wants it to feet. Him coming on further forward seems to allow their defence to step up that little bit.

The very definition of a player who needs a run of games to get rhythm but there’s no way he deserves that here. Uncomfortable with the talk about his attitude though, it’s lazy. He’s clearly just lost all rhythm and his qualities do not lend themselves to being a sub at all 🤣

I think that lungeing tackle came from his not controlling a ball when it came to him. He then appeared to chase it recklessly and go in for a challenge. At the time expected a red card to come out.

Agreed on both counts. I do think he's past his best too and should be moved on gracefully. He has been a decent squad player but not any more.

I just hope he doesn’t drive to Leicester in the manner that he plays. He’ll stop at three service stations, make a wrong turn at Brackley, sit in the middle lane of the M1 doing 55 and arrive 20 minutes after the transfer window closes.

Interesting that Rangers have won their last 5 games and now are above Celtic in the League table.!!!
I wonder why?

A player that you very often forgot played for us. Contributed very little which is a shame as I always thought he was technically very good, physically big and strong so should have done more than he did. Another one of the famous 9/10 2022 transfer window that did nothing for us

Russ will tell you it’s because of all the work he put in coming to fruition 🤣

Yeah he won't be missed. The very best you can say about his time with us is that he was a useful squad player in our 23/24 promotion season. That's it.

Never done anything of note, and certainly did nothing to warrant having his own song (that our fans bizarrely seemed to love singing even when he wasn't playing), when much better players than him never got one.

Very glad to see his wages off the books finally.

Surely bankrupt Leicester won’t be paying his ridiculous wages?

Never rated Aribo, lovely to see dross like this out the club. And even better news we won’t hear that silly song we sing for him whenever he appears.

They will be paying some of them if not all. I seriously doubt he is on anything like some of the shite player wage websites suggest.

If he drives, he won’t get further than Newport Pagnell because it’s got a KFC, a Burger King and a Krispy Kreme

Lazy fucker, will not be missed.

After his time at Rangers I was expecting he might offer us something. But no.

I think his running style didn’t help fans perception of him. He always looked as if he was the player that was trying to keep going in the 97th minute. Trouble was that was his style from kick off.

Agree with you, won’t be missed.

He was a significant contributor in our Championship season to be fair to him. I had higher hopes that he would be similar this time out but not to be.

Fully expected him to be off to a lower standard league (like Fraser). For him to get a spot at another big Championship team seems mad to me. Thoughts and prayers Leicester.

I remember some of the comments on social media from Rangers fans when he joined about how he was too good for us, or that he deserved to go to a bigger club. Guess that shows just how fucking awful Scottish football is if this guy was a world beater up there.

My abiding memory of Aribo was the cup game against Blackpool.

We were 2 nil up and I was hoping we might get a bit of much needed confidence. Blackpool broke away and aribo was running back with one of the Blackpool players, but decided to leave him and Mark someone else who was stood still. The player that he was originally marking ran on and scored.

Add to that they turning away from the Ipswich equaliser last season and the same again for the 2nd Millwall goal this season .

Apart from being lazy and a coward , he is a top player !
