The bloke simply cannot coach a team to defend, brave bollocks and all that nonsense.

But his teams simply do not defend. He's a disaster of a manager.

Isn't it Celtic this weekend?

Maybe I was optimistic in suggesting he'd be there 8-10 weeks, he'll be lucky to last into September at this rate. They will end up chasing him out of the city. He'll struggle to get another job after this.

No Celtic is the following week, 31st. He might not be there by then 🤣

Watching this and the Rangers defending is awful. But on another theme Mignolet in goal for Brugge! He could work as #2 competition for Bazunu.

This is certainly helping me heal some of the scar tissue he caused me.

He is going to be chased out of Glasgow and him and his football will be toxic waste across the UK, thank fuck

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Prioritising playing out from the back is so utterly fraudulent. Brugge are switching it up between playing out and going direct. What this means is the Rangers players are kept guessing about which they're going to do, so when Brugge DO play out they have the space and time to do so.

When you ONLY play out and stubbornly state repeatedly that you ONLY want your players to do it that, the opposition know they can press you as high and hard as they want.

But remember, you have to go through the initial pain for the beautiful results. Which for us, was a weirdly underwhelming unbeaten run and the worst PL season we'll ever live through.

So yeah, once you get through the initial pain, you'll be in for even more.

0-3

Could they be 0-5 at HT?

LOLz

Just like watching us in the premier league under him, against teams that would smash Brugge.

Fraud of a manager

To be fair they should have been out against Panathinaikos and Plzten if they'd had their shooting boots on. They've been flawed all seasn.

This is really something.

I have no dislike for Rangers, but if they go in 0-5 at half time then I will have a sly chuckle

The first goal is something special

But Russell will head up the Ibrox tunnel early and miss the fifth goal.

I said it last year a few games in, but he is just so painfully out of his depth it's unbelievable. Hope the players of ours that he broke - BBD and Archer in particular - are watching and realising that he was the problem, not them.

A rangers player has just dribbled past two players and won a few kick in a dangerous area. This is the scar tissue and pain that he’s talking about

It really is a powerful demonstration of the appalling lack of ambition from our owners, players, fans and club that he was tolerated for so long.

He certainly won’t be for long at Rangers. The Directors have done something really stupid but unlike our church mice, their fans will ensure it is promptly dealt with.

I stand vindicated having called it about him during the hey-day in the Championship...

A lot of people said if he played that way in the premier league we’d get murdered and so it proved

I don't think you were alone. I found it a really weird season, In fact I'm still really conflicted by it as we finished on 87 points and got promoted, but it never felt right. Something always felt off.

I'd have been accepting of us swapping out in the summer we got promoted, but we were never going to do that.

He'll be gone after this no doubt

And he'll be borderline unemployable. Back to League One if he's lucky.

Just remember, at the forum it was mentioned that the club acted to remove Martin, when they did, due to the pressure from the fans....less so about results and performances...

An incredibly stupid thing for him to say.

Blimey, even Russell is calling this an embarrassment.  In all seriousness, check out their forum. The hate for him is on a different level than even we had.

And even that took at least two months too long. Pathetically compliant and carrot crunching.

But it’s no shock that Dragan, Ankerson, Spors and the rest of the SR clowns know less about football than we forgot in the last 30 seconds. Poor old Will Still, let’s hope they don’t fuck up the rest of transfer window for him.

He should have gone after that Bournemouth game...at the latest. It was so hilariously obvious he was way out of his depth by then.

We are notoriously slow at making the common sense calls. Nathan Jones being another case-in-point, and even going back to Pelleigrino - we stretched him out too long.

It's obvious when it's not going to work out, giving it more time isn't helping anyone.

It’s what we should have been seeing after the Bournemouth debacle/selection/tactics. The second half should’ve been focused on his removal with brutal humour from our away support and SR’s board should have completed the job. Too passive and inert all round.

It's seeing this that makes me further wonder how that championship season would have gone with someone competent in charge.

Said it all along mate that the players we had could have won us the league.

When you concede 60 goals in the championship, and go 25 unbeaten without making a single point on the top 2, you know it was foundation built on sand. It was so obvious
