The only two on target efforts were in the middle of the goal so I'm assuming routine saves even for Baz. 1

It also relies on what their injured keeper does when he gets back, they seem to really rate him but think he might be destined for a higher level one way or the other. They'll learn 🙂 1

Yeah that's not a credible account at all. If he'd done his ACL, there's no way he would stay at Stoke for treatment cos he won't play again this season and there's zero chance they would exercise the option to buy in the summer. 1

Interesting he gets an injury as soon as he gets there, is it our conditioning? They might train a bit harder there, no idea. I notice Smallbone has been out for ages at Milwall too. 1

Think there was pretty much zero chance they was ever gonna exercise the option to buy . 8 million for a keeper would be super expensive for stoke and when you factor in how shit bazunu is it’s not like he was ever gonna be worth that .. we should have just lowered the price and got him gone or with obligation to buy at a lower price

West Dean FC Legend Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Probably couldn't believe he had to go into training on Monday and work really hard - I mean any player sent out on loan is going to get injured training since Russ Ball. I mean they must miss the hugging too.

SNSUN Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Stoke fans want the contract terminated. I'm not sure how it works, but wouldn't a contract have been agreed that a termination would have to be agreed upon by both parties? I can't see Saints wanting to have to pay his wages whilst he's out for the next 6 weeks. I think (and hope) they're stuck with him.

It’s the same as when he got injured at Standard Liege. Injury or not, for the duration of the contract he’s their player, unless we agree to terminate, and why on earth would we do that. It’s only six weeks anyway. He’ll be back in time for their play-off push. Edited January 25 by Midfield_General

Just had a look and about 75% are saying he’s crap and they hope they don’t sign him. The rest are saying it’s too early to judge but his mistake today was a shocker so the jury is out. The main thing I took from it was, no one on there is saying he’s good. They’re already saying what we already knew, that he has nothing to do for long periods, but when he’s called upon, he doesn’t help them out and lets goals in, sound familiar? 1

Ironically it wasnt too long ago that Irish commentators were lauding Baz as their 'keeper for the future before his injury.
