The P&O logo is navy and gold (or near enough to it), but on the shirts looks more black and white. I'm a fan of gold on a shirt (the 2020/21 third shirt - white, red sash, gold LD Sports and Under Armor logos - is one of my favourites) and a navy logo would tie in nicely with navy shorts.

Hummel had a couple of misses (in 2022/23 everything bar the third shirt) but Puma haven't had a hit yet bar maybe the GK shirts last year, which were a stock template.

Saints kids kits £13 Inc postage on dh gate as opposed to £80 odd…

Have the Chinese managed to put a collar on them unlike puma?

It’s a shame just as P&O becomes the main sponsor, they switch the port of registry of their ships from Southampton to Hamilton……!

Ostensibly they've made the change so that they can hold weddings on board. I suspect there's a lot more to it than that.

Really like the kit. Happy it’s back to black shorts

I just dislike the prices 😁

As far as I know we wore black shorts last season?

talking of scruffs who start random songs is Hat Kunt still a regular?

We have a new generation of utter oddballs who've taken over from Hat Kunt's reign of terror. They combine stealing songs from other clubs, drinking darkfruits, throwing pints around in the concourse whilst filming themselves, standing around giving it the big "come on" to home fans before getting on the bingo bus, and shovelling rat poison up their noses.

Yeah about £50 for a slightly bigger badge and a sponsor stuck on it. Rest pretty much the same. Will only wear to gym and the other is for my boy, so he does not care. Happy with the cheaper one!

Yea im not justifying the price as it is expensive especially if you have a family, but someone on here mentioned they were the same as the official without the sponsor but in reality, the badge, the material and the cut of the shirt are all different.

Anyway, i think the shirt looks much better in person, than in the photos

Looks like the numbers on the back will be red, which will balance out the white back a bit. Still feel the stripes should be on the sides and back but here we are.

What about their ferries?

Where have you seen this about red numbers? Will it also be the players names? I posted some weeks ago, when the rumours were about a plain white back, that red numbers/letters would somewhat improve the look of the back.

The online store shows red numbers when you use the 'add personalisation' option for names and numbers.

Thanks. I still would have preferred a striped back but I quite like the look of it with red numbers/letters, somewhat balances out the red and white look.

I always think that it’s a risk having players names put on at this time of year, will they be here come September?

While not as nice as some of the mock ups, that's not bad.

Those are lovely. That Adidas Originals logo makes everything look better. Why is it so hard to create something as simple as this for us.

Go for "Stephens".

I can't for the life of me understand getting a shirt with a players name on the back at the start of July. TBH if I managed the club shop, I'd ban player names from being printed at all, until the window closes. Just have personal printing only.

I’d be interested to know how much the club make on shirt sales. For £65, I fear that a lot of people, quite understandably, will look for knock-offs. There must be some sort of football shirt laffer curve?? They must lose a considerable amount of potential purchases by making them so expensive but figure this is made up in the profit from the higher cost?

If only Micky Channon could be zooming down the middle and scoring a goal with his Windmill celebration

Even at his current age he’d be quicker than Joe Aribo.
