Well timed and a good sign. Rather this than lose a few weeks waiting on Rohl that is clearly holding out for a top level job

goodymatt Posted Saturday at 11:53 Posted Saturday at 11:53 (edited) High performance podcast showed him to be a very honest, down to earth, humble yet ambitious coach. Very interesting journey so far and the tactical flexibility is going to be refreshing. He has dealt with players being sold left right and centre and also took on a top flight team with no management experience only to set their club record undefeated run immediately. As other posters have suggested, element of risk with any appointment but this looks like a guy with a track record over the last few years of getting more than the sum of his team’s parts. He’s highly rated by the France football expert and that in itself is encouraging. Getting this done before the season has even finished should assist the massive rebuild at hand. Let’s see what the squad looks like in September. I look forward to conceding a lot less goals, if his Ligue 1 defensive record continues. Edited Saturday at 11:55 by goodymatt 2

If what you saying is that the first post in some way has distorted things after the event, then why is it something you do, and get caught at, so frequently? Thanks also, for confirming how precious you are every time you are scooped to news, and once again trotting out the "but my source is different/added" excuse. It's funny seeing someone that age be so desperate.

No comment on "If what you saying is that the first post in some way has distorted things after the event, then why is it something you do, and get caught at, so frequently?" Don't worry about going to a League 2 forum for posters past their prime. You can look back at all the good posts...well, perhaps not...but look back at your many years here, and know that your new home will treat you in exactly the way you deserve. 1 1

gio1saints Posted Saturday at 12:30 Posted Saturday at 12:30 The first media available says there’s agreement between lens and saints. That’s not the same as between Still and Saints. It’s then been upgraded to Still has signed with saints ~ by Romano on X I think - 3 year deal - though this may be a preemptive extrapolation of the first post as there’s no ££ mentioned. Wait til Saints announce it to be sure basically. 1
