The same Bamford the forum experts said was too injured and past it to sign up as a free agent?

The same ones funnily enough who said Ross Stewart was fine as main striker and Gavin Bazunu fine in goal.

And the same ones who said Rasmus Ankersen is a good co-owner.

Just kidding. At least that's one thing we all agree on: he's a complete wanker who shouldn't be anywhere near our club.

Unusual for there just to be a handful of matches on Christmas Saturday in England. Of course the media presented it as the other way around ‘as Boxing Day only Man U v Newcastle on’….!!

Keith Andrews at Brentford doing a decent job. I thought with Frank leaving Brentford would fall apart but Andrews has seemingly slotted in seamlessly.

And good to see Bournemouth lose again.

Lacklustre from Villa so far. Shame as I can't stand Chelsea (always multiple dickhead fans in pub when they play) and would like to see Villa keep up the pressure on Arsenal and City. Hopefully Emery will give them a rocket at half time.

Fantastic game, I hope Villa win the title, Arsenal will fail and I can’t stand City. One other point, we are light-years away from the premier league in ability, we’d need a whole new squad.

To think it was only 19/20 when Villa stayed up on the last day, having been promoted the season before.

And in 2022 they were 17th after 11 games and sacked Steven Gerrard. We were 14th after 11 games and sacked Hasenhuttl 4 games later. They went for Unai Emery, we went for Nathan Jones.

That was a proper WTAF moment....even so early on in the SR regime.

Leeds have perked up, West Ham look in real bother now. KWP and Fernandes looking at back-to-back relegations.

Fernandes taking inspiration from Ramsdale’s record.

This would be funny. He’ll probably be our manager from June

Rasmus likes managers who have failed so dont rule it out

I liked Coventry a lot more before Lampard’s antics. Long shot but do think they might blow it

I’d love it if they did. Sod all to do with Lampard though, their fanbase have forgotten their place.

Couldn't make out that chant from the Ipswich fans. Hopefully it wasn't about Frank, I'd hate to see his feelings get hurt again.

Was it, "Frank Lampard. What a wanker. What a wanker."?

If so, probably was about him.

‘Shit Steven Gerrard’

Think it was being directed at Rudoni.

No way Saints would be pushing on like Ipswich if we had a 1-0 lead

We’d have taken all our best attackers off and put 6 defenders on

A classic basic chant

Coventry will implode.

They’ve been effective at taking their chances but they will burn out.

See Leicester two years ago who ran away and just about scraped promotion at the end.

The Championship looks so weak this season, which makes it even more of a shame that we won’t be near the top.

The critical thing is they got promoted.

Coventry don't need 120 points, they just need to finish top 2 and they definitely will. They need to do about as well as Bristol City to get top 2.

What makes it worse is the very lucky scenario that West Ham and Wolves will be down here with us next season. Two sides that will be very much in the running for promotion.

I genuinely don't think we'll be anywhere near promotion for many years, so them coming down is irrelevant in that sense as they won't be a threat to whatever we're doing.
