Some ballz to do it to be fair. I reckon Mendy must have watched a few quick videos of Diaz penalties.

They'd have to be pretty short videos, he's only taken 3 in his career so far, hard to find a panenka trend in those!

A lot of drama in the AFCON final!

Senegal players walked off the pitch due to a dodgy VAR decision.

Hopefully our players walk off the pitch in the first minute on Wednesday so we don't have to put up with more turgid shite.

Incredible stuff

7th minute of injury time in the final - really soft foul given denying Senegal an injury time winner

8th minute of injury time - Morocco go crazy over an incident that happens for most corners, leading to the ref being called to the VAR screen, to watch along with both teams shouting in his ears. Awards pen.

time passes. Lots of anger. Eventually the whole Senegal team except mané go back to the dressing room. Mané then seems to get them to come back out.

lots more time passes - at last they are lined up for the penalty

it’s the worst panenka ever

😂 Pretty much sums it up. The disallowed goal and then penalty award looked absolutely nailed on dodgy as f*** though. The goal should never have been disallowed, they were both pushing each other only the Moroccan defender decided to dive rather than head the ball.

Brighton v Bumouth . Softest penalty I’ve ever seen. Why will a ref never stand firm against the VAR ?

Ridiculous decision.

Poor away following from Bournemouth by the looks of it, is that half the full allocation they’ve got?

They took 25% of their home supporters

Thats a really poor away turnout but when you haven't got many fans in the first place i suppose its to be expected. Mind you, plenty of empties in the home section

Norwich winning away at HT, scored a good goal and looking good value for it. Doing the basics well and looking organised and competent under Clement. They’ve got themselves out of the bottom three as it stands, replaced by the skates. WBA look poor.

As it stands Saints are 5 points off the relegation places, with two of the teams below us to play in the next two games.

We are in a relegation battle now, make no mistake.

Nothing to do with Norwich having appointed an experienced manager though who demands respect, according to some on here. Just total coincidence the whole club has had a lift and results have picked up almost immediately after he was appointed.

Can we sign the Senegalese reserve goalie. The determination he showed in protecting that towel is worthy of a contract.

Norwich now 3-0 up away.

Managers don't matter though, right?

Yep, just like another huge coincidence in Sheffield Utd’s upturn in form and almost immediate rise out of the relegation zone as soon as wilder took over  - a manager who’s also managed them in the premier league and took them to 9th in said league. Nah, nothing to do with the manager there either

West Brom collapsing like we did against Boro and look absolutely awful. Their new manager Ramsay looks as clueless as Tonda.

What a surprise a hipster inexperienced data style appointment is looking clueless already in a league he’s not got any experience in.

Vipotnik of Swansea top scorer in the league now - somehow they managed to get him on a fraction of our budget. Big strong and holds the ball up, a real handful and scoring for fun. It really wasn’t hard for us to get decent players in with the money we’ve got. You’ve got to be almost record breakingly clueless to not sign the right players at this level with our budget.

This is our future once the parachute is gone.

Bimbling around like West Brom either flirting with the play offs and crashing out or flirting with League One and just about staying up.

Best case scenario = we do a Coventry or a Sunderland get promoted miraculously one year

Worst case = Cardiff / Derby / Brum Plymouth down to L1 inevitably one year

Likely scenario = Stoke/Norwich/WBA/Preston - neither up or down just there for fucking ever and ever.

How's Cifuentes still in a job at Leicester? They mustn't have two pennies to rub together over there, that's what we're looking down the barrel at I guess.

Wonder if they’re ever going to get that points deduction. At this rate it could cost them their place in the league.

The fact Sport Republic were seriously considering him at all says it all.

Just goes to show what a meaningless propaganda stat that is, literally worthless

Ramsey will point to the stats and data at suggesting they’re on the right track i expect.

WBA were playing really well under their old manager manager and I could not believe how they were not winning games. He was so unlucky, but it is a results business, but I think he would have turned things around. Now they are in the shit.

My Norwich supporting dad is now very happy they are out of the bottom three.

This is without Sargent, who wanted out enough to get dropped to the reserves for saying he was unavailable for a match the night before.

Makama has done really well. For anyone who hasn't seen him, he occupies that giant gap we have in our own side. A mobile, reasonably physical and fairly powerful centre forward, who can also bring others into play.

My dad and I are just waiting for Clement's interview where he says "I am so lucky to arrive, just as results just happened to change. I'd like to thank the fates for making it look like this had anything to do with my coaching, tactics or managerial ability."

Vestergaard scores for Leicester at Wrexham in 90th minute. Wrexham we’re on a great run, but now wobbling again. Still doing better than us though!

It’s almost like an experienced, respected manager can get a tune out of a decent but underperforming squad, weed out any troublemakers and start climbing the table. Groundbreaking stuff

He scored two against us so any Saints fan who hasn't seen him must be living on the moon.

Who'd have thought it? Anyway, there's nothing hipster about taking the sensible option - it doesn't make you look smart.

Could they say "sod off" to Rasmus while they're there? That's where he seems to live. 🙂
