Fifa have done their best to make it impossible for the big nations to not make it to the World Cup Finals so that would be some feat if Italy don't make it! 🤣

Is a farce how Italy and others that are second in their group don’t qualify whereas South America 6 of 10 go through and 7th plays in a play off. WC is better for having Italy although is always funny.

Not to mention the fact that Sweden made the playoffs and qualified because of their performance in the Nations League, despite finishing bottom without a win in their qualifying group.

It is a bit odd that the likes of Italy and Denmark fail to qualify due to the way group staging works but cannon fodder like Cape Verde, Haiti and Uzbekistan will be there.

You can’t just pick teams based on vibes. Countries qualifying through a set out qualification process is not odd. The World Cup suddenly deciding Denmark and Italy should be in because it feels better to Europeans would be odd and probably something we aren’t too far away from tbh.

Although that's what's been happening for some while now. I agree those that didn't qualify shouldn't. And it should be 16 teams only. But less dollars from tourists to be made and as always most US people will still wonder what it's all about and think Newcastle should be called the penguins cause they play in black and white, etc.

I think a chunk of that 2025 loss is actually Strasbourg's.  A significant amount of the outgoings over the three years will be deemed "non football-related", so they will somehow manage to be under the £105m maximum for the three year period.

I missed the rest of the game after the equaliser. They were great first half. Confidence must be shot to bits now. Could easily end up finishing 4th
