I thought he was ok as they all were. he’s hardly going into any in depth propriety information and I expect he’d prefer not to go to these types of events. Perhaps when there are more exciting plans to reveal, the approach would be different. 
 

Trollope struggle with one question when using multiple ‘you knows’ and Spors is a functional German rather than a suave persuasive individual. Just hope his technical ability of knowing a player is top notch. We'll find out this season.

It seems to me that you would get "bland, corporate responses", if you ask open-ended, vague questions like "what is the Club's plan for the season". On the other hand, If the manager had been at the forum, and you asked him the specific question "do you intend to use two centre-backs as your default defensive formation this season", I suggest you might get an interesting and revealing answer. Something specific, and with unexpected elaborations, perhaps.

I suspect he’d just say “sometimes 2, sometimes 3 - depending on the circumstance and opposition”. Wouldn’t really reveal much…

How did spying continue for at least five months, with seemingly over a dozen Staplewood football staff aware that it was happening ?

How did nobody tell Spors or Parsons or did you know and thought it would just be a fine ? 

Is there any truth to the claim that a former disgruntled Saints employee tipped off Boro that someone might try to spy at Boro’s training ground ? I hope whatsapp is now banned from use. 

There was literally nothing to gain from it, with analyst software providing so much data.

The media response throughout the entire Spygate affair was shambolic and amateurish, i hope that has been improved with serious PR people as the club head of comms isnt up to the job. 

We clearly cannot sell any of the likes of Scienza, Jander, etc., if we want to gain promotion.

There should not have been any price increases in tickets following what happened last season.

Why are we not having a fully striped kits like other FL clubs ? The backs look horrendous.

Now that the footprint of St Marys has become smaller with fanzones, have you offered to buy the land adjacent to the chapel stand ? 

Lets gets some much needed revenue via sponsoring the stadium if a suitable partner can be found.

I genuinely don't think there is much to say about spygate. It is what it is, it's happened and we've admitted it. It's been analysed to death and we have to continue to wait for the outcome and possibly the club do not know why they are waiting so long.

Being a Saints supporter means believing that heart, determination and togetherness can overcome bigger budgets and greater expectations. It means taking pride in a club renowned for developing exceptional young talent, playing with courage, and representing Southampton with honesty and passion. There has always been a resilience about this club—a refusal to give in—that reflects the city and the people who call it home.

Over four decades, managers have come and gone, players have become legends before moving on, and fortunes have risen and fallen. But one thing has never changed: the feeling I get whenever I see those famous red and white stripes. It's a feeling of belonging. Southampton Football Club isn't simply something I support; it's woven into the fabric of my life. It's memories shared with family and friends, Saturdays filled with hope, and a lifetime of believing that the next match could be special. 

 

The last few seasons have been quite interesting with the Promotions and relegations, the fight backs in the game and the Spygate Saga.

Football clubs often describe themselves as families. Southampton is one of the few that genuinely feels like one. Through every disappointment and every triumph, that bond has only grown stronger.

Win, lose or draw, my pride in being a Saint has never wavered—and it never will.

 

My Question is this.

Could the board give away disposable cameras with all purchases of a programme?

And when is the Meat and Potato pie making a come back?

Just imagine it. Adam finishes his introduction at 5:59PM. A hush descends over the room as the lights dim. The faint strains of Baba O'Reily starts to play, quietly at first and then louder, building to a crescendo. The dry ice fills the space and out walks Zan Vipotnik in the God-awful away kit. The front row are the first to clock what is happening- it's a simultaneous mega signing and new kit reveal. A double header! The man who has attended every Fans forum decides to leave his question about the shade of the football socks until next year. It seems less important now for some reason. A lady in the back starts hyperventilating then faints from the excitement as Phil Parsons loosens his tie, stands on his desk, snatches the microphone from Blackmore and shouts down it "fuck spygate, Southampton is back bitches." And then Tonda does his psychopathic grin snap to deadly serious and the real questions begin. 

If SFC were a proper football club then this would be the minimum expectation and they'd be testing the robustness of the smoke machine as we speak.

I really hope someone asks a really important question about things that matter, like stadium expansion, the women's team, or the price of a pint. I'm convinced we'll get multiple questions on it. As you and others allude to though it's not like we'll learn anything from them.

The only question which might be interesting around it is how long of a ban would be needed for Tonda to be sacked but I reckon they'd swerve it anyway.

Parsons saying the club is expecting from the FA a timeline for further information, then a specific date for a hearing and then a follow-up period. Blackmore asks if September is more likely than August and Parsons said rumours are rumours. Once we get more information from the FA on the timeline we will be happy to share it more widely
