Is what I would expect, but if we go 4-2-3-1 then Robinson must be included.

The famous midget forward line - that'll work.

Even with crisp packet hands in goal we’ll fucking smash those plastic scouse sheep shaggers.  Hopefully in front of those two Hollywood cunts as well.

Put that in your next series you fucking pair of twats.

Honestly, they should stick your snippets up on the walls in the changing rooms pre every game to gee the players up.

Seem to remember these motivational speeches were at their most prolific when we went on that unbeaten run two years ago. Maybe the players were given them in their pre-match briefings 👋

Any news on if the Hollywood boys will be there in the directors box? We'll need to pull out our own A listers , Rishi Sunak? Is Pinder still a Saints fan after the Martin sacking?

Pinder in the box? Disgraceful abuse of position.

Craig D would be worthwhile to lead some singing.

We will be just the support act, we just need to take our cue and ensure it's a successful production for the new darlings of English football.

Rasmus will be up there surely, explaining to them that they will never get to the premier league unless they break "it"

3 if we lose.

Drew 0-0 with Man City GW36

When did we last win a competitive game of football? Can anyone remember what it feels like? Especially in front of a home St Mary’s crowd

Last November wasn't it? Everton?

Portman Road in Feb, feels like it was the year before tbf - but we actually did win there. Tall Ball in the final few mins.

And we still believed... :D

Feels so long ago I can hardly remember it, actually incredible how bad that is and considered most of our starting XI was at the club last year entirely possible that losing mentality is still ingrained,  would be a real boost for the whole club to get a win again

I just want us to come flying out the traps, giving 32000 ( well 29,000) of us something to get enthusiastic about so we can forget last seasons car crash. UTS.😇

Or we do what we do best, choke and lose.

Football, it's a funny old game.

Unfortunately with the change of stadium configuration a "sell out" at St Mary’s is usually just under 31k

Club released a few more tickets today in blocks 9 and 3 if anyone still after a ticket

He's done a great job at Wrexham really, three successive promotions , I remember hearing him talk before about his days at Saints as part of the youth set up , around the time Benali, Shearer, Le Tiss were there so he does have Saints connections

Wrexham is a real banana skin fixture and given we've looked unconvincing in pre-season, tend to struggle in our season openers and we've just come off the worst season in our history, I'm not confident of a win.

I think they'll score first, they'll frustrate us and heads will start to drop. Will Still will make some changes, we'll equalise and it will end 1-1 with us ruing missed chances.

For the benefit of your mental health may I suggest that you stop holding your feelings in & just say what you are thinking.

I have a very bad feeling about this game. It has potential “Opening Game Of The Season Fcuk Up” written all over it. And then a Disney + episode.

a relegation battle would make much more entertaining TV than a lower mid-table finish.

Indeed.  If you're writing a "Hollywood" script for this then Wrexham lose tomorrow so that they can build themselves back up against all the odds.  It's the classic multi million dollar underdog story.

We simply have to win. As a Saints and Chester fan (never conflicted in my lifetime and increasingly unlikely to do so), losing to these Disney goat c*nts just isn't an option. Wrecscum have always been the main and bitterest rival of Chester. Been so for a hundred years plus. The fact that a once proud club have sacrificed their football soul on the alter of commercialism and risen through the divisions as a consequence is one thing, but to now even be in the same division as Saints is just ungodly and the thought of losing to them makes me feel physically sick. Just thinking that gives me shivers. It will make my year to date if we smash these druid, daffodil munching f**ks by 3 or 4. The sooner the natural order is returned, the better.  COYR!!

I don’t see what Quarshie and D Downes have done to make so many assume that they will be starters? Similarly Ross Stewart not starting, is he injured?

not be our players from last season.

give me tall, fast and physical younger player with Stephens

I think that's it in a nutshell. I don't want to wee on anyone's cornflakes, but I given our previous form I  am going to reserve my judgment.

Can someone give me a heads up on what to do if we win a competitive match, that has some importance.
it’s been a while. Do we ‘woot’? Celebrate with gay abandon?….slag off the obvious weak links in the squad?

it’s been a while. Thanks in advance. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was just wondering how many players have played for both clubs in the past, and the first one that came to mind was Barry Horne. A quick Google search indicates that Paul Jones had a brief loan spell there as well, a few years after he left us.

Can't call this one at all, our managers an unknown in this league, the squad's in limbo and Wrexham have made a load of signings so anything could happen.

You would like to think this is the perfect game for our players to use their frustrations from last season as motivation and smash the sheep shaggers but this is Saints we are talking about so will probably fuck it up.

Bree, Harwood-Bellis, Taylor and Smallbone all out through injury.

Dibling, Edozie and Aribo out through transfer speculation.

Fernandes and Downes both in the squad, maybe not ready to start.
