Yep. Quarshie isn't ready yet imo. Edwards or Wood need to be playing instead.

Wood for me, knows this league at least. Not the right time for playing SR projects in the more difficult games.

Perspective please guys - this is the best team in the League by a distance. We still have a shit defence (as we have had for years).

I had this down as a loss.

is it? Birmingham look like it so far

There’s still time for that….🫣

Without a decent RB, and a decent 3rd CM, we can't play 433. Still is working with what he's got.

Needs a hold up striker which we don’t have. Might have to make a quick assessment before the end of August about whether Downs is ready to be that yet.

Yep. I doubt Still wants to be playing 343, but he ain't got the players for his preferred 433. Hopefully that changes.

Feels like they are more likely winners. The subs haven't done anything for us yet.

knock or not, Fraser looked tired. Good sub to make. Time for Sugawara to show some worth.

Played very well 👏

Is that what Stewart has?

Impressive he coughed up some performances late last season then.

If he has gonorrhoea, there’s some breakthrough new medication for that now apparently.

Bazunu looked quite good so far but why has he started playing out short to defenders again? Putting os into trouble.

He’s a fantastic keeper.  Providing he doesn’t have to do much goalkeeping….

This formation doesn't work. We have wing backs pushing up and 3cbs marking one CF. Everytime they hit a long cross field diagonal and are in behind.

And I know a lot of that is squad related. But I still don't get why we play the little man up front alone and largely isolated. Arma did okay, but wasn't really threatening... Archer the same seemingly.

I wonder when the last time a player was subbed on that was older than both managers on the touchline?

I thought the same. Pretty remarkable that he's playing at this level at 40. Fair play to him for looking after himself so well.
