Miltonaggro Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Another astute signing for this league if Spors can pull this off! 1
iansums Posted August 28 Posted August 28 The one player I've actually heard of (and seen play), impressed me when we played WBA. 1
saintant Posted August 28 Posted August 28 £10m sounds cheap - will believe it when officially confirmed. If we get him it's a great signing for us and squad is beginning to take shape. 1
Badger Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Brilliant if true, and if it comes off (But with Saints prepare for disappointment ... deal falls through, usurped by Spanish club at last minute ..... injury in training ... )

Here Baggies fans, take a look at your favourite who we're flogging to a rival for peanuts. Fill your boots! Edit- Ah I see that was from 22 June. Maybe not so dopey then. Tis the sort of things ours would have done LOL. Edited August 28 by TheSoundman

Saint Scott Posted August 28 Posted August 28 A few West Brom fans are keen on BBD to replace Fellows. https://wbaunofficial.org.uk/showthread.php?tid=38487& £10m plus BBD out the door, make it happen! They share the same agent... 11
Colinjb Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Astute, providing support to our limited strike force, rather then hoping they can create something out of nothing.

Verbal Posted August 28 Posted August 28 5 minutes ago, Saint NL said: Adam Armstrong is doing extra heading practice as we speak Fellows had better start practising knee-high crosses then. (I know this is awful, but for some reason AA always reminds me of that Stonehenge gag in This is Spinal Tap.) 2

saintant Posted August 28 Posted August 28 1 hour ago, CSA96 said: One of the things I like about Fellows is that, as he goes down the wing, he has a couple of quick scans of the penalty area to see where his options are. Quite a refreshing change from many wingers who constantly just punt hopeful balls into the box with no clue where their team mates are. 2

Will be quite refreshing after a period of wingers with poor decision-making (Sulemana, Edozie) 2
AlexLaw76 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Will make a refreshing change from “working the ball” (slowly) out wide, about 18 yards out, to work it back (slowly) the other side, and so on

AlexLaw76 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 WBA must have a sell-on thing going on here, just seems a low value
Lighthouse Posted August 28 Posted August 28 If we’ve got Fraser and Fellows, we just need a #10 called Joligud now. 5
goodymatt Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Nice of Tom to wait for permission, unlike some players… 1 4
SWLondon Saint Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Bloody hell, £7m + 3m? Their fans must be absolutely fuming, what's going on there? I assumed they'd want at least £10-15m but doesn't seem so much of a risk at under 10...

I assumed they'd want at least £10-15m but doesn't seem so much of a risk at under 10... I had a quick scan of their forum earlier, they’re all agreed that it’s underpriced and £15m should be a start point. But they also point out that there’s no bidding war, no PL sides have shown an interest, and quite a few of them reference their own PSR problems which this would get them out of. 1

Baird of the land Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I assumed his contract must be running out but they had 2 years.
Convict Colony Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Happy with this, finally we get to see some dynamic wing play, midfielders who know how to score, might take a few matches but we should start being very sexy someone shortly
S-Clarke Posted August 28 Posted August 28 This is a ridiculous signing for the fee. He's a top Champ performer, I've always liked Fellows. Very direct, quick - not rapid, but strong enough to hold his own too. Can play left or right, a very versatile winger that adds quality into our side from day one. Probably the best winger at this level we could sign. 3
