Have they still got 12 players out? Tried looking up injury list and couldn't find much. That would certainly help us, we seem to have plenty out as well but a bigger squad. Missing Charles and Downes does leave us light in the middle. 

I'm going to say now that a draw here would be a good result , only conceded once in last 5 home games

I watched them last night and although they made hard work of beating Sheff W, it was a comfortable win in the end. In a simple comparison with our performance at home to Sheff W, 3 weeks ago, they had double the shots at goal and double the XG that we had against the same opposition.   

They are still suffering from an injury crisis which has caused recent results to drop, without that I'm pretty sure that they would be sat in 2nd.   We should treat them with respect. 

Plus, Saints have yet to beat any of the teams currently sitting in the top 9 of the Championship, so this is a good opportunity to demonstrate that the recent upturn in form is no fluke. 

I did think that their defence looked a little susceptible to quick breaks which has been a forte of Saints in the last couple of games. Looking forward to it ....

The onus and expectations of their fans will also be to be on the front foot against us which should also help, with plenty of space for Scienza and Fellows to exploit. Their win against Stoke is good form, although i'd suggest TE's Saints would have taken Stoke to the cleaners. Two nil Saints. A goal early on (Aziz) and one as they try for an equaliser late on (Robinson). :)

Bermondsey is like a load of 3rd generation pikeys all in the same place.  The most horrible bunch of cunts you could ever wish to meet.  They deserve the shite housing they have, not that many of the scroungers pay any rent.  They’ll be on the piss big-time on Saturday celebrating their bumper pay-rise from Rachel the Twat.  Won’t even notice what’s going on on the pitch.

Possibly one of the best descriptions of visiting an away ground and meeting their wonderful supporters I've read for a long time. Most inviting !!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

I lived near there a generation ago, and there were very few Millwall supporters and alot of city workers. Same for Deptford, Surrey Quays and Rotherhithe.

Tonda is intense when focusing on Blackmore in the press conference, but he cant help breaking out in smiles at points.

one of them was when Romeu was mentioned, and it could mean a Jander / Romeu partnership in the middle of the pitch.

I've a feeling Tonda may start Oriol for this one. He'll have now had a good look at him on the training pitch and maybe he's seen enough to decide he can trust him alongside Caspar with Downes suspended. He did give quite a big smile when Adam Blackmore asked if it was good to have Oriol in the dressing room and his reply was along the lines of 'it's good to have him on the pitch also'

Mmm, hoping that the news of Scienza not playing is just mind games because he is the conduit for so much of our new found attacking flair. Having said that, I have confidence that if he is out, Tonda will be able to devise a winning formula with the players at his disposal. Having Romeu alongside Jander will be massive…he will not allow our midfield and defence to be bullied. Still sticking with a 1-2 scoreline.

If Leo isn't 100% I'd have him on the bench. If we can get 30 mins out of him, it could be lethal against a tiring defence. If Fraser is fit I'd start him on the left, he's just as direct.

Downes picked up a 5th booking on Tuesday, so I presume suspended for Millwall.

Why is everyone calling for Romeo to play. Bragg was immense at Charlton surely he gets the call first. Bring Romeu on later in the game 

Some rose tinted glasses going on here. Great player for us but his legs were definitely going 2 years ago so he's hardly going to be the Messiah now. Effective cameos to settle the ship is probably more his thing now.

No you have to start with Romeu and then take him off after his yellow card 😉

Because Millwall are a physical side, and Romeu would be physical in return.

Yep, agree. I feel most managers would be more coy / guarded about such a player coming into the side, but you could tell from his demeanor that he's excited about the prospect of Romeu playing. So, yes, based on that reaction, it wouldn't surprise me if Romeu started.

the DEF make the lions look like Pussies. Greg Wallace and his boys getting not get lemon or they'll be get ironed out quicker than you can say hooliganism doesn't get tougher than this. I remember going to Millwall as a wet behind the ears teenage and hearing of Millwalls fearsome reputation feared the worst. A few clothes lines and elbow drops later they weren't so tough.

I think that it is a fair point, and I would understand why Bragg would retain his place in the starting lineup. 

However Romeu brings something that too few of our players have which is outstanding pedigree and experience. It was only 10 months ago that Romeu was starting for Girona in the Champions League against AC Milan and Arsenal.  While I agree that his legs were starting to go, Millwall away is not at the same level as he was playing just earlier this year. 

Nice decision for the Manager to have to make.

He played 28 league games for Barcelona in that season. He'll be more than fine in the Championship.

I’m looking forward to this - their defence relies heavily on Jake Cooper who is a Goliath with the turning circle of a super tanker. Hit them quickly on the ground and I think they’ll struggle, Tanganga was their brains in defence and I’m not so sure they’ve replaced him.

Downs injury could be a chance to get Oyekunle some well deserved game time. I am hoping that we'll have enough experience to be able to give him, Jay Rob and Cam Bragg some more minutes. Romeu's experience and calm head will be much needed, even though I do trust the youngsters to step up when needed. If Leo's out, I'd be tempted to get Moses Sesay involved from the bench, too. Tonda sees him as a more attacking player as I understand it. TBH, I'd rather he was on the pitch than Aribo at the moment and Matsuki has been nowhere near the team for ages, so those who've been playing well for the u21s must be sharper.

I think it very much depends how he is used tactically. I wouldn't expect him to be running up and down the field chasing players around. Hopefully its CM role to break up play, to be a leader and give this team a vocal leader on the pitch. I obviously follow all of Barca's games and no one was more delighted to see Romeu play for Barca than me. He benefitted from a much slower league and a team that largely dominated possession against all opposition. If i remember correctly he only made one 90 minute appearance, the rest he was brought off or subbed on. The Championship is a very tough league and i sincerely hope Romeu can make a difference still.

Valid point MLG but I still wouldn't throw him straight in. Those legs are older and Spanish football is way less physical than the Championship.

But who knows , all conjecture at the moment.

So we have won 10 games in a row! I have a mug from the 90’s and most wins in a row was on our honours list 😂 and it was 6! I presumed for some reason that we have never beaten this, but there is proof we have. Need a new mug! We’ll need to win trophies as well.

Come on this lot lost to the skates last week 3-1. Not sure how, but on saying this they are a much different beast at home 2-2. Saying this Coventry took them apart during their amazing spell in October…
