An odd selection of players.

Not sure why probably our best 2 CB's must leave but the other two get to stay.

Or why armstrong must leave but Archer can stay.

I think Trump must have hacked him and posted his usual rubbish

I was talking about players that actually play. Of course Archer, Aribo, Fraser etc should leave but I thought that didn't really need saying.

Would you be saying the same when if it was us?

Of course I wouldn’t. Are you seriously comparing a tiny shithole like Wrexham with Southampton? I know our club has shit owners and so are the council, but it’s one of the fastest going cities in the country with lots to tap into. The waterfront development alone is a reason to own the club which sports republic have been exploring. There is absolutely no return in owning a small potatoes club like Wrexham. It’s the type of club that should be owned by the local businessmen that hovers around league 2/non league. What’s happening with them is the most egregious example  of financial abuse in football. At least with city etc you can get it to a stage where it can sustain itself. Thats never going to happen with Wrexham. Hate them with a passion and it doesn’t get enough bad publicity.

How about someone like Taiwo Awoniyi on loan? Not getting many minutes at Forest. Probs wouldn’t drop down. Reports suggest Piroe won’t either.

Not many names that come to mind that are realistic.

Forget the economics of owning Wrexham compared to Saints as you’re right. I don’t live far from Wrexham and it is an area of deep poverty with few jobs and little going for it. The football club and what they have done has breathed new life into the city. It is what football is about or should I say used to be and should be about. It’s generated money, jobs, hope and above all a feel good factor. I’d take that in a heartbeat and whilst I don’t want them to better us I wish them well for what it’s giving.

You don't think small clubs should ever be allowed to rise through the leagues on the back of a rich owner?

Sadly, very few PL players seem to drop down a laegue these days unless absolutely necessary, and foreign PL players are far more likely to join a top flight side in another lessor European league than a championship team.

Awoniyi is a decent shout, but his injury record isn't great. Piroe isn't a target man. Did he snub us for Leeds back in the day (I'm not sure) - as that would impact our interest.

It was down to money, Leeds were able to offer a lot more at the time.

We certainly had to balance the books that summer, and only spent money on Charles and Stewart. I am not sure Piroe is the guy we need. He can finish, but can he lead the attack on his own?

Yeah, despite being a big lad, he's not really a physical player, or one that often gets on the end of crosses either.  To be fair to him he's pretty good at linking play and, as you say, he can finish but I think a lot of fans would get frustrated with him.  Not surprising but more suited to a possession game than anything else.

Mbappe?

Only go for the best, eh?.

I recall an interview with the Koeman brothers shortly after they started with Saints.

When asked the question.. If you could have any player in the world who would you choose?

after a short pause.... they smiled at each other .....and simultaneously said ...Messi.

I think we should sign Bastardo Afonso Morrireo from Lyon.

All I know about him is that he is no 17, so probably a forward. But who cares , with that name .

Ps only noticed him because Matland Niles scored for Lyon in the Europa League

Tbh, I was sold immediately. Haven't bought a shirt in years but I'd be tempted just to have his name on the back

When he was substituted, the Northam Wall could sing ‘Bye Bye Bastard, Bastard Bye Bye’

Fraser gone to a Land Down Under.

Happy to keep trimming the squad but would still like a striker. Please.

I noticed Sheffield Utd had

CANNON

ArBLASTER

HAMER

BAMford

But we did win, despite their threatening names.

One of the more perplexing moves was signing him after promotion. Bizarre at the time and in hindsight.

I don’t think it’s bizarre in hindsight, I felt that way at the time, his premier league days were well behind him.
