whelk Posted yesterday at 15:35 Posted yesterday at 15:35 Monday 645pm Portsmouth at home please or a decent nearish away, not Liverpool
Badger Posted yesterday at 15:48 Posted yesterday at 15:48 Hoping for somewhere new, that we might expect to get a ticket. So not Weston super Mare away. But it’ll probably be Palace.
RedArmy Posted yesterday at 16:31 Posted yesterday at 16:31 Skates at home please. A chance to right the wrongs of that pathetic display cooked up by Still a few months ago. 3
Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 16:37 Posted yesterday at 16:37 You can guarantee it’ll be an away tie. Probably against one of Liverpool, Everton or Newcastle.
Miltonaggro Posted yesterday at 16:38 Posted yesterday at 16:38 Villa this round. Repeat 76 on the cards... 1
Matthew Le God Posted yesterday at 17:14 Posted yesterday at 17:14 Same as every cup draw... The worst team in the competition at St Mary's for the easiest path to the next round 1
Weston Super Saint Posted yesterday at 17:30 Posted yesterday at 17:30 Weston Super Mare away please. 1 3
EssEffCee Posted yesterday at 18:04 Posted yesterday at 18:04 Has to be skates at home or a northern minnow away.
Dr Who? Posted yesterday at 18:20 Posted yesterday at 18:20 Away to a northern team please. It will be Palace or Norwich home. 1
Lighthouse Posted yesterday at 18:45 Posted yesterday at 18:45 I wonder which Merseyside team or Crystal Palace away we’ll get this time.
Challenger Posted yesterday at 18:54 Posted yesterday at 18:54 Usual bollocks. An hour of inane boring crap before some bird presents us with a " we can now concentrate on the league" type tie.
LiberalCommunist Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Home tie would be preferable. Waste as little time as possible on the downgraded competition.
die Mannyschaft Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Home tie, Boreham Wood, Swindon or Blackpool. But likely to be Liverpool, Newcastle or Man City away. Palace away if its about 3700+ allocation.
Badger Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago 5 hours ago, Willo of Whiteley said: You can guarantee it’ll be an away tie. Probably against one of Liverpool, Everton or Newcastle. Last league game at Goodison, first FA Cup tie at Hill Dickinson perhaps

Football Special Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Any ground we either haven't played at before (Everton would be very popular) or somewhere we haven't been for a while. Weston Super Mare would be great, lovely beach to enjoy as part of the day out. Worst possible draw surely would be Middlesbrough away a few days after we visit in the league. Home draws are generally very dull in early rounds and with number of Championship fixtures we'll play a weak team.

Oisin Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Are they going to have it presented by a giant and midget, include a new “anthem” no one will recall, give a new peace prize to Farage, spend 25 minutes sucking him off, get it drawn by people who are thick and/or can’t pronounce anything and close it out with a performance of the birdie song. cos if not I’m not bothering to watch 3

John Boy Saint Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I think any of these would make a refreshing change to the usual bland reoccurring teams we seem to get 45. Macclesfield 47. Shrewsbury Town 48. Swindon Town 49. Weston Super Mare 50. Barnsley 51. Boreham Wood 54. Fleetwood Town 55. Salford City 56. Mansfield Town 57. Cambridge United 58. Brackley Town or Burton Albion 59. Blackpool 60. Walsall 61. Exeter City 62. Cheltenham Town 63. Doncaster Rovers 64. Port Vale All unknown quantities who will likely give us a game. No doubt Joe Cole will pull out number 35 and Crouchie number 30 - and only he will note the significance. 1
LGTL Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Normally always want Pompey but I guess it’s not as pressing this year. An away game to a non-league outfit would be fun, but they always seem to be reserved for West Ham or Leeds. So having said all that, no doubt a drab home draw.
saintant Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago It will be interesting to see how Tonda treats FA Cup matches. I think our strongest team could give most sides a game especially at St Marys. However, I suspect we'll field a weakened side now that we are beginning to close in on the promotion chasing pack.

SNSUN Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I usually want Norwich, any excuse to piss the wife off, but as we have them in the league on Saturday that will be enough gloating for a while when we beat them. Weston Super Mare would be cool, TV game guaranteed. Funnily enough I have a vision of Brentford away though. i hope Chelsea are away, any excuse not to have to work another match at Fulham.

whelk Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago can’t believe people still believe it is live. Already been drawn and we have Blackpool at home
Saint In Cornwall Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Anyone but Bournemouth otherwise Brooks will be cup-tied.
sandwichsaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Sunderland away and we had better go full strength too. Tonda needs to understand what the FA Cup means. Hang on, misprint, that should read ‘what the FA Cup used to mean’.

saintstowin Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The 3rd round draw still holds its magic as does the weekend (week?) of the matches. FA and bigger clubs have tried to balls it up but I still love it. 1
bpsaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Quite like the Skates at home so we can give them the Tonda treatment. That or the lowest placed team home or away

Probably will give a couple of headline David v Goliath ties but the draw is worth missing to avoid seeing old players gurning like imbeciles as they pull the numbers out. Monday lunchtime, behind closed doors, no fawning of ex-players. Job done. Part of the magic was how radios were smuggled into places to hear the draw.
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago Wolves at home would be good. Could compare how hideously shit they are to how we were.
