Not good (M.Svensson) or bad (A. Jakobsson) but just most bang average?

I will go for Mikael Nilsson. As the name suggests just a nothing player, despite 60+ Sweden caps.

I’m not sure we were watching the same Mikael Nilsson, if you thought he was not bad.

The okayest Scandi who comes to mind is Peter Madsen. Came in on loan for half a season in the Championship, scored a couple of goals, left. The end.

He was quite dishy, wasn't he?

I think he did modelling on the side.

Moi Elyounoussi. Most unbelievably average footballer somehow getting starts every week in a decent side

The one Rupert Lowe bought in to replace Fitz Hall, after he was sold Palace in 2004. Described by Rupert as good business at the time. Saints went on to be relegated.

Andreas Jakobsson. I think he was too shit to be mediocre.

He scored against Villarreal in the Champions League last night. He's scored 6 goals in his last 16 Champions League matches, including 2 against Man City, which isn't a bad scoring rate for a winger.

Jo Tessem. Never really made the team much better or worse. Average to the level he was playing at.

Definitely the worst Scandinavian commentator

I think you are overhyping a couple of points there.

Mo Elyonousi (or however you spell his name).

Mediocre? He was world class when he didn't have the ball. Never seen anyone like it for sticking to a formation

If him and Vestergaard had a 100 yard ‘sprint’ race in their prime, I’m not 100% convinced Jakobsson would win, yet Jannik was glacially slow/couldn’t run.

The ultimate ‘resting defence’ footballer.

I haven't checked my Tessem stats but my recollection is that he brought energy and versatility to the team and played several positions from defence to attack. I liked him.

Anders Svensson had a decent time with us but I recall I always hoped he'd kick on a bit more in terms of attacking threat and running games - like he seemed to do for his country. His output was defensive midfielder but his style wasn't.
