Two quite experienced managers this week talking about how good Saints Xg stats are and they both boast an inferior points per game record than TE this season. So plenty of availability out there.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted Sunday at 15:08 Posted Sunday at 15:08 2 minutes ago, Saint Scott said: This sums up SR... The only interview question was "Will you adopt the system we decide, in the formation we want, using the players brought in using our wonky database, all under football genius Rasmus?" Since Tonda said yes, and Carrick's reply was filled with expletives, it was clearly a wise SR decision. 1

Doesn’t say he wanted the job, just that the club spoke with him. Described as an interview but it might have been a sounding out on both sides. As Holmes & Watson refers to, club might have set out the parameters they wanted a ‘head coach’ (not manager) to work in, and he said ‘not for me’. A concern before the Rasmuses and DoFs of the world is that they might appoint someone who knows more than they do. 3

CB Fry Posted Sunday at 16:34 Posted Sunday at 16:34 Leicester sack Cifuentes. Can't blame them. 38 points from 29 games and 14th in the Championship is an absolute disgrace for a newly relegated parachute payments team. Pathetic performance. 3 1

Perhaps the commentators was speculating…

die Mannyschaft Posted Sunday at 22:37 Posted Sunday at 22:37 Can't see any more manager changes this season. We will get enough draws to stay up and that's good enough for whoever is managing things.
Maggie May Posted yesterday at 06:53 Posted yesterday at 06:53 Some typically lovely Saints fan revisionism going on with Carrick after he wins two games with a criminally underperforming PL side. 1 1
Pilchards Posted yesterday at 07:36 Posted yesterday at 07:36 (edited) It’s a mystery why we never offered the job to Carrick. I know Ankerson raved about Carrick at a golf function when Nathan Jones was our manager. I expect he’s no longer trusted after appointing the mad one. As for Tonda, not beating the skates with their 4 best players out and playing a system of pumping the ball long everytime does not sit with me. Because Wellington was the only decent left sided player but had to stay back most of the time which meant we starved Leo from getting any service. The only decent player we have left at the club and the poor bloke was double marked because no one else was there to support him. TONDA & REPUBLIC out please! I am slightly more positive we just need to get in better players who can regularly score goals which does not seem to be as easy as some on here think 1

Since then the club appear to have gone the full Ankerson!

Saint NL Posted yesterday at 12:18 Posted yesterday at 12:18 (edited) Interesting to see that Leicesters main criteria for a new manager is "experience". Wish we did the same. And on the topic of Leicester, I'm posting this because I'm a big child Edited yesterday at 12:38 by Saint NL 8
