Somebody that has managed a football club before.

Two quite experienced managers this week talking about how good Saints Xg stats are and they both boast an inferior points per game record than TE this season. So plenty of availability out there.

Maybe they manage inferior teams….?

So the quality of the team affects the outcome of the result more than the managers experience? Welcome to the club my friend.

This sums up SR...

The only interview question was "Will you adopt the system we decide, in the formation we want, using the players brought in using our wonky database, all under football genius Rasmus?"

Since Tonda said yes, and Carrick's reply was filled with expletives, it was clearly a wise SR decision.

FFS He was my first choice. I didn't realise he wanted the job too.

Proof of the incompetence running through the club not giving it to him for a work experience yes man

Doesn’t say he wanted the job, just that the club spoke with him. Described as an interview but it might have been a sounding out on both sides. As Holmes & Watson refers to, club might have set out the parameters they wanted a ‘head coach’ (not manager) to work in, and he said ‘not for me’.

A concern before the Rasmuses and DoFs of the world is that they might appoint someone who knows more than they do.

Leicester sack Cifuentes.

Can't blame them. 38 points from 29 games and 14th in the Championship is an absolute disgrace for a newly relegated parachute payments team. Pathetic performance.

Can't argue with that.

Then you look at the league table and see them above Saints 🤦

I’m surprised at this, no one in the world could do a better job.

Is this true? Was Carrick ever interviewed? If so was he offered the job? If yes did he accept or turn it down. If the former why is Eckert our coach today? Answers needed from Spors and SR.

This was mentioned in the Sky commentary today, but first time it’s been referenced to my knowledge.  Perhaps the commentators was speculating…

Yes man is the job requirement.  No self-respecting manager worth his salt would work for those cockwombles.

Its all about trading players.

4/1 second favourite

Out of work

Interviewed there before and apparently got offered it but chose Rangers instead. Same board will be making this appointment.

He’ll be in the mix
