Deserved the 3 points.  Stoke very poor - I’d thought they’d be a much tougher challenge today.  

We were superb in moments.  Just not enough of them.  Setup much better today & definitively the way forward.  Stewart hopefully will improve with fitness/more game time.

We've changed one player. Imo we would have been able to play it successfully without James Bree. Clearly it help having him but the idea that we refused to changed formation simply because we didn't have Bree is a mad opinion. Plenty of people also said that our poor performances 'had nothing to do with the formation' which is clearly bollocks.

Players need to take a long hard look at themselves. How can this group of players have been so bad for so many weeks and so good today? Bite, effort, application, belief. No excuse to let it drop and go back to the sulkiness. Downes back to his best today and MOTM for me.

Good to see Oyekunle get a shot but he offered little as we started to defend more. I wouldn't want to have to rely on the youngsters though if Ross got injured though. Not sure what's going on with Archer.
