Let's give crystal balls to all Saintswebbers, I say, so that we can all appear wise after the event in future.... It's simply not fair that we only have a small clutch of smart arses on here hogging all the limelight... P.s. talking of being a good judge of a footballer's potential... Innit - "ooooo look at me".

But the kind of sad part was that Larin scored again against Qatar, making him Canada's all time WC highest scorer, until Johnathan David got a hat trick in the same game. It is a "funny old game".

BARCELONASAINT Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I have to say i got Larin very wrong when he first signed for us and i'm big enough to admit it. He is now one of my favourite players probably just behind Scienza. What both players have in common is they are both grafters and both very humble and have taken nothing for granted. I hope he comes back from what is already a successful World Cup for him and Canada firing on all cylinders and ready to score the goals that will make us challengers for promotion this season. 6
