I wonder at what point Hull will kick off... We are being given a huge advantage by the uncertainty imo.

I'd be pretty livid if i were them and it went on much longer. We knew last week who we were playing. Hull are in a degree of limbo by Boro's continued media antics and the uncertainty its causing.

Well, they are playing Southampton on Saturday and should be planning as such

no way can Boro step in on Saturday now, the game would have to be moved

I'm sure they are just working on the assumption that they are playing Southampton. Maybe they will complain if they change opponents and don't give them long to adjust.

Well, I think they have to prepare for us. Surely, even if we were booted out, there's no way the EFL would expect a Hull v Boro final to happen for at least a week.

A hull fan in Peru getting stressed because he's booked a flight for Thursday and still no confirmation if it's going ahead. I think we can all agree it's a shit show for people like that. Really poor that he may not know until tomorrow if the game is even on on Saturday.

Looking through the EFL rulebook. Match postponements, the home side should give five days notice and the away side seven days. Now, that is just for a standard league fixture but surely the same rules have to be followed if the EFL actively looking to postpone the final.

Surely the bigger question is why is a bloke from Peru supporting Hull?

Have to keep an eye out for him on Wembley Way. He’ll probably be wearing a duffle coat with a couple of marmalade sandwiches sticking  out the pockets.

Counting down to 72.

Now that would demonstrate that we have some cojones. We send someone to Hull today to watch them in training.

It's the one thing they would least suspect.

If only there was someone we could blame for all this

Their manager said they were told by the EFL that we were playing them on Saturday, so they are preparing as such

There is nothing anywhere that indicates we will be kicked out

The doubt has been caused by the Boro press machine. What Will Salt did is a speeding fine in the world of crime. He watched blokes run about from far away. Was it a sanctioned move, I would think the club would use a drone or something a bit better. As much as spying is wrong, being rubbish at spying has to be worse

I just sent this to my nephew who is a current pro player, and he reckons this is absolutely spot on.

He thinks the whole story is massively overblown. He said it's obviously not great sportsmanship, but (and this is interesting) that lineups and tactics get leaked all the time through other means anyway, so someone watching training from behind a tree wouldn't get anything that would have any impact on the outcome of a game, and he can't see anything other than a fine in all likelihood.

They all must know how they will vote and by what evidence. Taking far too long.

It's not a vote, mate.

There appears to be very little leakage on all sides of this panel, not sure that a bloke with 64 followers on Twitter since 2018 scooped this to be fair.

Which makes doing it even more ridiculous

Maybe he keeps a small tight knit group and only concentrates on the big issues

Some big questions need to be answered after this is all over.

Such as “what is the Boropolis Twitter account going to rage about next?”

Lack of ongoing levelling up funding, immigrants or some other Red Wall type anger issue.
