Turf us out, let Boro through, let us challenge over the summer. We are not guaranteed to beat Hull so to claim we lost £200m or what ever is a bit of a stretch

I bet Boro have said to EFL we want you to do this x,,y,z and EFL have agreed and now cant work out how to publish thier agreement with Boro to make it look like EFL have decided. Boro are running this whole fake cheating. Look at those Boro defenders and keeper not much attempt to get the ball which somehow slowly flew in unchallenged.

Yes looks like tomorrow tickets will go on sale.

Saints have emailed their hospitality clients with prices and details. Would say the ticket information isn’t too far off now.

Yes. Few people have had calls too. They’re selling Saints only hospitality packages and were giving details.

The other thing to bear in mind is that the kick off time hadn't been announced, which is unusual.

That was due to Millwall's potential involvement. So perhaps some further details need to be worked out with stakeholders like local authorities, police etc.

Agreed - looking back at that, the original kick off time was apparently 12 noon, which would've meant less drinking time before the match, for exactly that reason. Hull won't want a noon kick off (mind you, we won't either).

Maybe allowing the publication of final ticket details 'needs' to be delayed to show that the EFL is acting in a fair and thorough manner. Giving the finalists the go ahead could be construed as pre-empting the tribunal decision somewhat.

You would think the EFL would of had pre planned this for any eventual outcome from the semi finals. Surely they cannot only just be liasing with the police etc on times now.

Doesn't it undermine Boro's case that they caught the 'spy' so presumably would have then changed anything they think would have been seen?  So their actual loss is the inconvenience of having to do that and potentially not being able to play in exactly the way they might have intended. So if they want to base any punishment on the degree of their loss then that is the sum of it.  Surely having known in advance means they can't claim they lost because of it in the same way they might have been able to if they hadn't found out about it until afterwards?

Surely the thing to do if you're EFL is let the game go ahead. Hull win problem solved, points deduction and fine for us. If we win, and they want us expelled, than Hull go through as beaten finalists.

That would be the most sensible solution but of course it wouldn’t suit Middlesbrough and they seem to be the be all and end all of this whole situation so would grizzle about that. Basically like a toddler anything that doesn’t happen exactly the way they want it to won’t be good enough

Typical of my luck. I'm actually off for final next week by some miracle and it could be moved, most likely to a date I'm working. Yay for shit luck.

Should we be kicked and I know it’s an if, the recklessness of the club will leave them open to claims from supporters. Over the two legs with everything I’ve had to pay out I would be around £400 out of pocket. I accept those costs on the understanding that the only jeopardy is winning or losing the tie - not that the club deliberately breached EFL rules, leading to their expulsion. I for one will look to recover those costs through whatever channels. I also wouldn’t rule out a class action if there were enough people.

Don't see it, you went to 2 games of football. 

Anyway they won't kick us out and Boro will consider themselves victims for evermore.

Absolutely but on the understanding of what it could lead to as well. Ultimately, if we are kicked out it will be catastrophic for the club and could be detrimental to us for years to come.

If the worst case scenario happens, and I can't see it happening, wouldn't it have been easier and less penalty involved to do your standard financial doping, not paying player purchases in time, not paying players, strangely getting inordinate quantities of penalties or any of the other ways of winning games, rather than just analysing opponents just a little too near the game, as opposed to watching them all through the rest of the season?
