Surprised the full released/retained list hasn’t been done yet. Google search. Championship clubs must notify the EFL of their retained players by the third Saturday in May. Clubs competing in the play-offs are granted an automatic extension, while exact dates for publication to the public vary by club. [1, 2, 3, 4] The deadlines and submission rules include: Initial Notification Deadline: Clubs must formally notify players of their contract decisions and submit their lists to the English Football League by mid-May (for example, May 16th). [1, 2] Play-Off Exception: Clubs that are involved in the end-of-season play-offs receive an extended deadline to submit their lists to accommodate their prolonged season. [1, 2] Public Release: While lists are submitted to the league on the EFL's primary deadline, individual clubs have some flexibility on exactly when they make the news public. You can check BBC for rolling, league-wide announcements or your club's official site for hyper-specific local dates. [1, 2] Southampton FC has not yet published its full official men's retained and released list, though reports indicate it is expected to be released shortly. The delayed publication stems from the club's extended season, as they were knocked out of the Championship play-off picture. [1] Current expectations for the squad updates include: Women's Team List: The Southampton FC Women's Retained List was officially confirmed, showing seven out-of-contract player departures, including club captain Atlanta Primus. [1] Key Retained Elements: Reports from fan sites like St Mary's Saints indicate plans to keep essential figures such as James Bree, Ross Stewart, Daniel Peretz, and Cyle Larin. [1] Potential Expiring Contracts: Per tracking from the Daily Echo, first-team players whose deals expire this month include Alex McCarthy, Joe Aribo, Will Smallbone, Charlie Taylor, and Oriol Romeu. Striker Ross Stewart has been offered an extension but is still deciding whether to sign Edited 9 hours ago by Charlie Wayman

Keep on praying lads and lasses; make it happen. 🦊🦊🦊 👍 😇 First Vestergaard and Bertrand, now possibly Martin and Bazunu...we are not going to be flavour of the month with many Leicester fans.

Otherwise he is just average crap We are talking about a guy with well over 400 PL appearances that played for us for 12 years. Your definition of a journeyman differs from mine. He may not have been a great PL player, done a lot since he left us or what we need now, but describing him as a journeyman? Nah, I'm not having that. 23
West Dean FC Legend Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) That's interesting. There's seems to be a school of thought that Bazunu would be 'okay' for League One. This means I could have played professional football in goal instead of Salisbury and District, Southampton Junior, Wiltshire League, Commercial Houses...I could have earned money playing football....darn it. He'd be perfect for a Russell Martin side. I think he did score a corner for West Ham, so technically he has surpassed Beckham's record for set piece goals 😄🙃
LeBizzier69 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago With Manning and JWP we'd have some proper set-piece weaponry. 2

chownie20 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Kenny McKenny left Ipswich, interesting, presume that means no £8m release clause for them...what a shame.

chivvy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I don't want ward prowse back but Matt Grimes didn't have a bad season this year in championship and he hasn't played to the level prowse has previously.. but it time to look forward not back..

I thought Jander and Downes made Grimes look pony when we played them. I'd rather keep them two (if possible) than sign Grimes. I couldn't see Grimes making the step up if we do want to get to the Prem either. Coventry will replace him. 1

Pilchards Posted 44 minutes ago Posted 44 minutes ago Who’s the twat that always scores against us for Bristol City? Surely he’s worth a punt if we’re looking for a number 10.
