I'd be surprised if BBD played for us again. But who knows with football. Archer seemed to redeem himself right at the end of the season, but if a half decent offer comes in, we'll sell and look to try again.

We are unlikely in my opinion to spend a load of money on a striker. More likely to find someone from a foreign league we have never heard of. We will be trusting Spors again to pull a rabbit out of a hat.

I imagine we will try to loan a striker possibly capable of stepping up in the PL should we go up. Spend the money on a number 10 and CB to replace THB.

If we're looking for a winger on loan Mikey Moore from Spurs would be worth a look, had a decent season at Rangers last year, wont get in their team.

We may get better value abroad but loans for Lankshear and Moore - ideally with options, at least on Lankshear, could be some smart business. Moore can play in the 10 or on the wing and Lankshear could be a good option to compete with Larin. If we got them both I would say we’re possibly a competent second choice keeper away from having a very good squad though that’s before any likely departures.

Max Aarons (RB cover) not wanted at Bournemouth.

James Ward-Prowse, as much as I dislike past players returning, would keep us healthy in midfield at this level.

Even Ferguson (loan from Brighton).

Another player who absolutely nobody would want if he hadn’t already played for us. Twice now he has left, had ‘issues’ and wanted out almost immediately. Saints aren’t a comfort blanket he can just keep running back to whenever he needs to sort his life out. He can go and do that somewhere else.

If we're looking at Scotland / Rangers we could do a lot worse than have a look at Djeidi Gassama as well. Quick, direct, gives defenders all sorts of problems and has got a goal in him. He was often their standout player whenever I watched them last year. Can play on either wing and they picked him up for less than £2m a year ago, which was a great bit of business. Only 22 so YHGTI.

Max Aarons would expect to be first choice, and a good player. I doubt we'll go for another right back with Bree, unknowns about Sugawara and also having Roerslev coming back from injury (hopefully shows what hes got).

He has now left twice for pastures new, sometimes the grass isn’t always greener. 

He was ok at best the time he was with us, a bit like Matty Fernandes, there was a player there but when you put him against the crock of shit that season anyone was going to look like a world beater.

And that he isn’t.

Yeah I think Moyes has also had problems with him up there. Mentioned that he needs to train better and work harder. Even signed that Chelsea player on loan in January and played him ahead of Dibling. Obviously has ability but not great head with it. When I watched him also had stopped trying to run it and take players on and preferred the low risk backward  pass back
