danjosaint Posted yesterday at 08:18 Posted yesterday at 08:18 Always get Sancho, Ramos, Benzema and Mahrez, they're all without a club as well

I was hoping he'd go to Leicester, where Martin would start him, and under who he did really well. Financial troubles, but a player who is such a good fit, it seems daft not to try and sign him. Of course, Will may look at the chances of Russ still being there in 2 months, and realise he'd then be trapped in L1. 1

Their window was an absolute car crash, they screwed it up so badly that they finished with only 18 senior players in their squad and only one recognised centre forward. They’re seriously talking about having to get 40 year old free agent Vardy in until January, or playing Alcaraz as no. 9 because other than Barry they don’t have any other options. Absolute carnage. 1 1

When he’s part of a central three, and has the likes of Flynn Downes to do his physical work, he’s very good. But cannot play in a central two, doesn’t have an adult physique. It’s why, combined with his injury problems which are probably linked, he hasn’t got a club. Whoever signs him, like Stewart, does so where he hasn’t had a pre-season. Huge risk. Whoever does sign him, and hope someone does, sends him to the gym to bulk up, not see a football for 8 weeks, and be in contention November onwards once he’s done the neccessary physical work to be able play in central midfield and be independent. Miltonaggro Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago On reflection, I am going to rate this window an 8! Without Bazunu offski a 5, so his departure (for actual cash) represents around 30% of optimism.

bpsaint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago "Our main goal for this transfer window is not to make money, it's to make at least the same quality if not better team for the next season," he told BBC Radio Solent. More bollocks from Sport Republic then. "On the other hand, I think we have a very capable scouting team, and we are monitoring a huge number of players." I guess they weren’t scouting any big strikers that can hold the ball up. Or Centre Backs. 2

Baird of the land Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago After the excitement of securing peretz and larin the transfer window really went sour for me. Schlotterbeck the only other signing I’m remotely impressed with. 2
sfc4prem Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'm afraid to say, as tradition requires, I'm going to get involved in the vote now rather than at the end of the season. 4/10 for me. Moved a bit backwards, rather than forwards. 1

Assume that may happen in January.
