East Kent Saint Posted Saturday at 12:47 Posted Saturday at 12:47 Sullivan off as well as Brady , much speculation to ensue !
Badger Posted Saturday at 13:07 Posted Saturday at 13:07 (edited) Serious historic allegations mentioned. https://news.sky.com/story/david-sullivan-steps-down-as-west-ham-joint-chair-after-serious-historic-allegations-13551367 Hard to believe that of a man of his integrity who made his millions in the ‘adult entertainment’ industry. But perhaps the scandal will bring the dildodome stadium crashing down around him. Wonder if Gibbo will look to start another moral crusade. Edited Saturday at 13:09 by Badger 13
Badger Posted Saturday at 13:09 Posted Saturday at 13:09 Not sure this will have that much effect on West Ham though. Isn’t the real power there with the Czech bloke (owns the Post Office), rather than Sullivan? 1

Football Special Posted Saturday at 14:02 Posted Saturday at 14:02 Lots of unknowns with them for next season. West Ham fan i know is convinced they'll struggle initially as lots of players will leave / come in and typical for them to do business late in the window (same for all teams though) , could be like us last year where the team starting the season will look quite different come September. Should be a couple of good games against them, remember them coming up with us in 2012, I dont really enjoy visiting the Taxpayer funded Olympic Stadium but expect they'll at least give us a 3000 allocation unlike many other Championship sides, can't see them filling 60,000 regularly. 1

Not sure about that, I think Sullivan is majority owner and the speculation is that his kids will now take up a greater role in management. Eitherway, it's a potential limbo at the top of the club during a critical period.

I missed the Boris mention the first time, although on re-reading it this seemed reference to how Karen Brady got her title. There is also the question of how the stadium was taken by West Ham at a time he was mayor of course. Brady’s father was a Director of Skatesmouth at one point as well. Another fine upstanding member of the porn community. When you say “he does like a blonde”, did you mean Boris himself, or Sullivan perhaps using Boris as a centre-spread ? 1

Osvaldorama Posted yesterday at 07:36 Posted yesterday at 07:36 Agree with the Millwall lot… scummy owners that have tarnished the clubs reputation. Baffling and seems corrupt that they get the stadium at taxpayers expense. Whole thing absolutely stinks. You have to think that will be in huge trouble if they don’t go up straight away.
Maggie May Posted yesterday at 07:42 Posted yesterday at 07:42 I think the Hammers will win the championship quite easily. They’ll bring in some decent players and Nuno’s done it before. 1

Well, all of Boris's mistresses seem to have been blonde, as well as his various wives - it's so easy to lose track. But please don't introduce that other idea, I have a strong gag reflex. 🙂 With regard to injunctions and all that it's handy that after he got one of his girlfriends to procure an abortion another one refused and then sued him for child maintenance. The advantage of having such things reported in open court is that they are then a matter of public record... It might not get reported in The Telegraph or Mail but other publications are available..

Every club is going to want to do a number on them, and a half empty London Stadium isn't going to help...

They have quite large financial losses from the previous season & will need to sell their best players to stay within the profit & sustainability guidelines. A lot will depend on how wisely they buy & sell. 2

Need to keep THB, Scienza, and Jander though. 1

Of course they have two/three players that can cover that amount and there are probably more wanting out. If Sullivan’s family are involved in the trade of new players, they can easily fuck that up. How do you think Leicester will get on in League One?

They will get absolutely picked apart, loads of players there that shouldn’t really have gone down. Must be terrible inside the dressing room and we know how hard that is to bounce back from. It’s gonna be interesting to see what they do.

Apparently we are very close to signing the bullshit artist Martin so I expect that to severely dampen my enthusiasm for the club.
S-Clarke Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I feel a bit sorry for WHU fans in all of this, as their name is about to be dragged through the mud I'm sure. Not the fans fault, but apparently the 'club' is somewhat complicit in some of the coverups. Doubt we'll ever find out the true story. 1

Empathise in many ways with the current situation but you’ve also seen your club win in my lifetime the League Cup x2, Premier League and FA Cup. That ain’t too shabby at all for a mid-sized club similar to ours, probably exceptional along with your rivals on the Trent and if KP sell up, the good times will come back. Never know, you might have a promotion campaign next year although Rusty’s idea of football is very, very different to mine! I’d take some seasons in the National League if it meant I actually saw us win 4 major trophies. Edited 3 hours ago by Gloucester Saint 3

We’ve had success & it was very enjoyable but to watch the club being destroyed by a poor owner & an incompetent DOF still really hurts. 2

And a far more legitimate one it would seem.
saintant Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Seems the FA might have been aware of some of these allegations. Be interesting to see how this evolves.
HarvSFC Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Damn, and we got expelled for watching a few training sessions.
washsaint Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago To be fair to Sullivan this is cancel culture at its worst. He's never been charged with any offences and whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? UK society makes me sick - people being 'canceled' left right and center because pearl clutching morons think they are 'holier than thou' and so much better than the plebs. Look at the witch hunt against Saints (and Tonda) for something that is absolutely miniscule in the great scheme of things. 2
